I, too, can't stand that.

I think this all started when feetheat.com first came out. This was at a time before they had all their sister sites accommodating it. There could have been another site before that one that started that trend, but I'm pretty certain feetheat.com was the one that placed this act on the map as a way of being different and making things a bit edgy, I suppose.

At the time, I thought it was pretty cool. The girls flipping the bird at the camera had to have some say as to why that site became so popular as quickly as it did.

But then it caught on to the people running other foot sites and thought that if their girls did the same thing, then they would cash in on the popularity as well. And that's what killed the attraction, the fact that other sites started having their models do the same.

What started out as being pretty cool turned out to be so unappealing.

I am surprise such a landslide of non-bird flippin' fans...while didn't think it was a big deal...guess it rubs some people the wrong way!

I agree with Fiasco's comment about it workin' with some models & not with other.

I'll remain a minority and say I still dig it in the right conditions!

Guess one could compare it with the porn where the women are 'filthy talking'...some guys really dig that...doesn't really do much for me...

I really never noticed that this was something that was happening in the "Foot World". I don't frequent sites though. I did notice that my son's little girl friends were all doing this on Facebook a few years back. It's kinda popular like the puckered lips thing that the kids do.

I used to flip the bird in almost every pic that I took from maybe 18-27 or so...Maybe it was a "Detroit" thing but the premise was doing the opposite of smiling and saying "cheeeeeese"...

We would be at the bar and decide to take a picture as a group AND THE PICTURE MAN WOULD AIM THE CAMERA AND SAY, "SAY CHEESE"...And I would flip the bird and say..."F--- You"...This is how it started in Detroit. It was a Guy thing and girls never did it...We just didn't want to be on camera looking friendly. Thank God I've grown up...

I would assume that it's the "Bratty" thing to do now right? Cute lil thing with pretty lil feet with her lips twisted and flipping the Bird...smh...different strokes for different folks I assume...I don't think its something that would bother me though...

Seeing a girl do this does nothing for me at all. I had always assumed it was domination thing- but I also can see that it could be the "bratty" social response that Detroit mentioned.
