***Me holding up middle finger to "creepy" foot fetish guy***
So, my wife's friend (who I'll call Julie) drops by yesterday and I overhear the conversation they are having. Julie was a little peeved and starts telling my wife about an encounter she had earlier while shopping.
She was trying on some shoes and noticed a guy she thought might be following her. He was holding his phone and every now and then she'd hear the "click" of the camera phone and when she looked over, it was pointed in the vicinity of her feet. This when on for about 15 minutes and he kept following her. She became extremely creeped out and approached one of the security guys in the store to tell him, and the guy tried to get away. Security caught up with him and she left immediately.
I heard her tell my wife, "Why the fuck would you go around taking secret pictures of women's feet. That's so fucking creepy". She kept referring to him as "creepy foot fetish guy". Later, my wife asked me if I'd ever do something like that, to which I responded "Fuck no!"
Julie is probably going to associate "creepy" with "foot fetish" for the rest of her life. This fucking pervert, who had no self restraint, probably ruined her for the rest of us. I'm sorry, but that is totally unacceptable. It's guys like this that shed a negative light on foot fetishes and make us look creepy. God, I'd love to bitch slap that guy.
I've seen posts here about guys talking about secretly talking videos and pictures of women's feet and how to get away with it. From now on, I going to call these guys out. If it gets me banned, then so be it. I'm just sick and tired of this type of perverted behavior. Sometimes makes me wish I wasn't associated with these morons by having a foot fetish.

I agree 100% that it's not only wrong, but incredibly rude and disrespectful to women to take pictures of them without their consent. I do also, however, feel that it is wrong that you simply jump to the conclusion that they are immoral perverts. The reason they do it is because they are probably very lonely and sad, so they feel that is the only way they can have any sort of interaction with women.
I don't mean to try and shoot you down at all - in fact, I very much agree with you that what that man did was wrong; all I'm saying is done jump to the conclusion that they're bad people just because one one very small thing!

I agree with the OP. I don't understand why guys try to justify it, either.
Taking secret pictures of women's feet is just like taking upskirt pictures. You're taking pictures without their consent to share and fap to later on.
That's why I can't enjoy those candid videos that many people upload on YouTube and other sites.

See, that guy gives us all a bad rap. I see one of these guys, every once in a while and it is just bad. I am very secretive about my candid shots. In fact, I distract the owner of the feet with my kids. Most of the time when I take candid feet photos, I am in a location with my kids. So, my kids are running around on the playground in the park and a milf with a hot set of perfectly pedicured toes is sitting on the park bench watching her kids as her feet are out and resting on the end of the bench. I take a picture of the kids and sometimes even line up my kids in the same line as the feet. Secretly creepy but not...

That does not give them the right to infringe on other peoples rights. How would you feel if someone was secretly taking pictures of a family member's feet so they could whack off to them? She is someone's daughter, wife, mother.
If you're short on money, does that give you the right to pick pocket?
I get that the guy might be lonely and sad, but there are other means to which you can satisfy yourself... strip clubs, escorts, etc.

I understand where you're coming from, and I am not at all saying that what he is doing is acceptable in any way. What I AM saying though is how would you feel if you were in that situation? You have to show some element of compassion and understanding my friend, regardless of how wrong what they are doing may be. You to try and see it from their perspective rather than simply your own.

the thing is, as far as I think, is that this is the world, as strange as it is. It is a fetish and whatever turns you on turns you on. In the spirit of "she's asking for it," I think about women who get pedicures. Now, for this very example, I have not only met this woman but conversed with her so I know this as a true fact:
Say a woman in her 30's gets a pedicure. Why does she do it? She says that its sandal weather and she wants her feet to look sexy and her toes to look pretty. So, from this it would sound as if she likes it when people look and comment about her feet. In fact, she tells me that people do stop her on the street and tell her that she has pretty feet. So, you know how she reacts each time? She hates it. That's right, she tells me that she wants her feet to look sexy and her toes to look pretty and parades her feet around for everyone to look at, but if anyone tells her that she has nice feet, she goes "ewww yuck".
Also, I'm not defending this guy, but in terms of a reasonable distance, people who take pictures of feet, say more than 10-15 feet away are doing nothing illegal. As for this guy, however, he is violating this woman's privacy by getting too close, I'd say. I have seen a guy at the mall, walk right behind a girl wearing flipflops and stand right behind her on an up escalator at the mall. He is one or two steps down and as she is waiting for her floor, she steps on foot back on the lower step behind her and flips her whole arch and heel out of the flipflop, exposing her wonderful toes and smooth looking feet. I watch this guy, magically hold the phone he has had in his hands the whole time, not a few inches away from this girl's feet and snap the picture. She doesn't even blink and he takes a few more, smiling with each successful shot. That is or could be considered illegal and most certainly would get him kicked out and maybe even banned from the mall.
Was that wrong? Yes. Is it wrong for me to go to the public pool and take a picture of the 40-something's feet and perfectly painted toes as she lies in the sun tanning? I don't think so.

I do see your point as I mentioned above. However, as I also mentioned, the guy DOES have other options that do not violate another person's safety and make them feel violated. I don't feel that I have to show him any compassion at all.
Now, what about her point of view? Do you see HER situation? She's just out shopping and ends up feeling violated.

Look, the main point I'm trying to make is that this guy just gave us a bad name.
Let's say Julie meets a stand up guy and starts to like him. She ends up finding out he has a thing for feet, she will immediately think of "creepy foot fetish" guy and the feelings of being violated will flood back to her. The new guy now has a strike against him and he has an uphill battle to fight through no fault of his own.
Same as the guy who sends e-mails to HSN hosts asking them to show their feet more. Or the guy who writes Stacy Kiebler and asks her for autographed pictures of her feet. Or the guy that calls in to news shows and tells the anchor woman she has nice feet. I can go on an on...

Tons of boards post pictures of celebs and regular women in situations where there is no intention to show off their feet. Its understood that if pictures are taken at a public event photos are there for public consumption but can't they make a case that they are being violated if they end up on a foot fetish site.Is it just as creepy for an actress to see pictures from a red carpet event zooming in on her feet and comments about men jacking off as it is for the women getting pictures taken of her feet at the mall?

I think it's more about taking a pic against her will. Yes it's creepy to follow a lady around with a cam snapping pics, but feet aren't considered a private part or else they wouldn't be wearing flip flops etc... I think if you're going to make money off of it it's more of a violation, rather than just snapping some pics for your own personal enjoyment.

There's a big difference in the woman's eyes on this I can imagine. Celebs already know of the implications of being in public and the paparazzi style sneak attack photos so nothing they can do about it. Grocery store or private property is a different ball game, albeit both situations are still in "public"..I'm sure the law reads the same either way. The OP original story seems a little exaggerated for attention purposes, but I'd have to agree with him that there still are creepy guys that ruin our whole community with ventures like this.If you're going out taking pics of feet, best be legit and tell them what you want to shoot and confirm I.D. and have them sign a release for taking their pictures. Professionals do it the right way, and they can still retain some inner creepyness without being a dumb fuck about it.

This is the terrible side effect I have been warning many fetishists about for years, but there's a handful who don't want to admit it. Instead, some of these listeners close their ears and defensively cry fowl. In fact, some have gotten so insecure about it, they've spent years trying to have me banned from certain places for my due diligence in calling out these creeps who give us a bad name LOL

Even sadder that some of these creeps make money off of these unsuspecting women without getting consent. If you get the consent of the girl, that is all you need in order to be kosher. Need proof? Just look at how the calibeachfeet guy approaches girls and asks upfront. There is no need to hide in the shadows or be creepy. Just use some honest charm and a little bit of social skills and you will be golden.
I guess there's just too many imitation feet photographers out there who just don't get it. Some have gotten a big head and ended up creeping women out. I'll spare the examples because they sicken me to even think about it. Those posers are not legit cameramen in my eyes. In fact, these wannabe cameramen are sackless cowards among the ranks of others who also condone this behavior, like some of the privileged naysayers at mousepad who regularly wiggle from (and cover up) their own hypocrisies.

I see your point I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I'm not taking a side on the issue I just wanted to spark an interesting debate. Yes celebs are in the public eye but I'm sure some of the ways they see pictures of them used on the internet must disgust them. You don't think a site with hundreds of your pictures and men going on and on about what they would do to your feet could potentially creep a woman out? I say just as much as the woman who's foot ends up on a candid site. It seems like the underlying issue for some is that a person secretly taking pictures is giving women a bad impression of men with foot fetishes. Men film breasts candidly, and secretly tape womens asses as they walk down the street. So any woman who has caught a man doing this when they start dating someone who makes a comment about their breast or ass is put in the same category as the creep who took pictures of her on the street? LOL, yeah right! I'm not saying candids are ok but OP your family friend seems creeped out by foot fetish period. I don't care if Brad Pitt wanted to introduce her to foot fetish I don't think shes going to find it enjoyable!!!
