I have thought about this for a long time, and I come to the conclusion that my life would be different if I didn't have a foot fetish. Because I have a foot fetish it makes me feel 'different' from most folk, and subsequently, instead of embracing my fetish, I find myself distancing myself from people. I think it's because when I'm out with friends I'm always looking at my female friends' feet and thinking 'what if I took her out and she eventually finds out I have a foot thing', she'll think i'm weird', and bang goes another relationship for example. That's one reason why I'm single and have been for a long time due to this. I just can't form a bond due to my fetish, and in a lot of ways I hate myself for having it.
Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against you guys on here for having this fetish, and i'm glad you can be so open about it, but for me I think it's a curse that in some ways is ruining my life. Sorry to be so dramatic, but that's how I feel. Does anyone else ever feel like this?

Personally, I don't tell everyone I meet that I have a foot fetish, I also worry about negative reactions. But I feel that I am better for having my fetish, not worse. I love feet so much! I feel I know something that others don't, and they are the ones missing out. It's a mixed bag for me. I feel as though having this fetish is a defining characteristic about myself, and i'm proud to say that i'm someone who can think outside the box when it comes to sex and attraction. I appreciate a body part that few others can see the beauty in.

There was a time in my life where I hated myself for having a foot fetish. Now, however, after going through a period of acceptance that it's part of who I am, I'm fine, and completely comfortable, having it.
I've realized over the years that if I don't make a big deal about it, girls won't make a big deal about it either because I'm comfortable with it. At first, yeah... pretty awkward. At that time I was just an 18 year old kid and didn't really understand what hell that was all about... didn't even know that fetish existed. As I said, I almost felt bad for the guy after he explained it to me. He made me promise not to tell the other guys on the floor, which I didn't. They would've crucified the poor bastard.
