Just a few questions about buying images on CD

With the advent of high speed internet I didn't think there would be people still looking to buy photos on a CD and wait for it to be shipped when it can just be downloaded in a matter of minutes. Maybe I'm wrong, but I also thought that high speed internet has also made the same dent in DVDs.

Interesting so far. I agree as far as the high speed download for images and video. Having said that, a computer monitor is no match for seeing video and images on a large, in your face, HD TV. Downloading is fine for a quick fix, but for real enjoyment for the true foot connoisseur, high def television is the ultimate. Just my two cents. I'm wondering how many here have tried watching HD foot videos on tv. Maybe I'll have another poll

I'd think of people were putting photo CDs on their HDTV anyhow, they'd probably also be the type to browse the web on their TV too. I just don't see any value is photo CDs these days.
