I had a pretty weird experience chatting to a girl on yahoo IM yesterday. Apologies, Its kinda long but shows how hypocritical and nasty people can be about foot fetishism
Back story: I am on that kinky social network of FetLife. I am a member of a yahoo IM group and decided to send a chat request to this girl. She seemed pretty cool on her profile, but said one of her turn offs was foot fetishes. I didn't take much notice because I can talk about other kinky stuff as well.
We did chat for a while, even cammed and she did view my FetLife profile. Her reaction was "Oh you are one of those people". I let it go and we talked about other stuff. She was cute, not remarkable but we just went on chatting and camming. She did flirt a bit and commented on how cute I was, but just wanted to chat about the whole kink scene. She seemed bored and suddenly turned her cam off. I messaged her and asked her what the problem was, did she want me to show her my cock or something?!

FetLife itself is supposed to be this great website where people respected each others fetishes/kinks but I guess I was wrong. All I wanted was a chat but turned out to be a rude, narrow-minded, nasty-mouthed bitch! It left me in a very pissed mood and shocked by her attitude!
Have any guys out there had similar experiences like me? I just wanted to share my experience with you

Sounds to me like there's a lot more going on with that chick than she's letting on. To be honest, the site has deteriorated in attitude. I do go to these munches, and I have made friends out of it, but the site has a really serious attitude problem. It's getting boring quickly. Why were you surprised that she felt that way about people with foot fetishes? Even though I fully understand where everyone here is coming from, I'm going to side with the girl in this story. The reason I'm siding with her is because of what she said in that quote.
Even though you never mentioned anything about feet during the chat, she does have a point when she said that you didn't have to mention anything about it. Because it was plastered all over your profile, in her own mind you were telling her about your foot fetish during the chat. It's like wearing a shirt that says you have a foot fetish. Women don't have to hear you say it because the message is there on your shirt.
Knowing that her turnoffs include feet before initiating contact with her, why did feel the need to single her out when there were others you could've chatted with? Agree with National 100%. The woman made it clear she was not into feet. The fact that she tried to overcome it for the OP should more likely be commended than frowned upon; she could have just never began the chat in the first place. The way I see it, she was trying to be open minded, but just couldn't get into it. More power to her for that.

Regarding the profile, the OP has every right to express himself on his profile the way he pleases. I have not seen the profile. Nevertheless, the girl seemed to be taken aback by it.
