When you consider what you've done, or what you're currently doing (privately or publicly) to show your appreciation for The Female Foot--Does the question ever enter your mind: "Have I gone too far?" Perhaps I'm overreacting.
Here's the thing...I've recently changed the wallpaper on my blackberry. NO BIG DEAL, right? (My BACKGROUND: bare feet, bound with rope around the ankles, standing on her tip toes) Most cell phones also allow u to change your banner. So I went from "U.S. Cellular" to something a bit more appropriate: "Barefoot Mobile"
I know what you're thinking--What's the problem!? IT'S YOUR PHONE!! Whenever I'm out and about, I find myself hiding or covering my wallpaper from prying eyes. Am I embarrassed? Why did I make ALL these changes to my cell, just to hide 'em? My family/co-workers already know about my fetish. So what exactly am I worried about? Their reaction? Citizens of Wu...I really need some feedback on this.

Sounds to me as if you're shy about showing off your fetish. You need to open up a bit more about it to be comfortable. My lock screen and actual background are feet. My profile on XBOX Live says I have a foot fetish. My avatar on a gaming website is a QR code that says my love for feet.
Do your friends know of your fetish? If not, telling them is a good start to getting over the shyness.

Perhaps you should just return your phone to its default settings and think of it as just a tool. The fetish is part of your mental life and while it's fun to express it corporeally on your phone, maybe it simply doesn't "go" there for you. Put some photos on it in a hidden directory, but not as wallpaper.
On the other hand, I could be full of it. Besides, I like live wallpapers myself.

Probably the same reason guys jerk off in the comfort of their own home but act like they don't do it or dare talk about it in public. Foot fetishism for some of us exist solely in the realm of sexuality and with that naturally comes the need for the line to be drawn with privacy.
I don't think it has anything to do with being ashamed with liking womens feet, it's just that some of us just don't feel comfortable with or the need to advertise it.

I just don't understand the "need" to have it as your wallpaper. If it were me I'd just change it to something generic and then be able to answer my phone openly.

I would be brave to put it up on my computer or my cell phone screen as long as my eyes would see it only or maybe a fellow foot lover like myself sees it, other than that i wouldn't show it in public either.

I'm the same way. I don't think everyone needs to know. I don't set any backgrounds to foot fetish material. I enjoy the secret of it and figure that if too many foot guys come out that laws could possibly be passed to prevent revealving footwear, lol. Probably really not, but it's sexual for me.
