Then you better start marking a lot of people on Social Media that post pics of under-aged girls, you have your work cut out for you because Facebook and Twitter they run around unchecked posting whatever. Kinda strange cause at 19 she's a baby her damn self. If she was messing around with a 40 year old man we would be all over HIS shit saying he's screwing around with a baby...now that 12 year old thing was too much, she gets all she has coming to her for that one but (hypothetically) if an 18 or 19 year old is having sex with a 15 or 16 year old, is it still rape?? Isn't that 19 year old still a child in most of our eyes? They can't even legally buy a wine cooler! Sorry to get off topic with this but her age sparked another question and I was curious to get your thoughts on it...

19 w/ a 40 y/o man if consensual is legal. Baby? I don't know, she is legal in all states at 19 to make the choices whether good or bad. 19 w/ a 15-16 y/o IS rape however you angle it.

At 19, someone is often inexperienced but capable of making their own decisions in regards to things such as sexuality. A 12 or 13 year old, not so much so. I've known plenty of younger women who have dated men twice their age. While it does seem a little weird, and they usually get over it pretty quickly, it's a decision they're capable of making. Someone in their late teens to early twenties using children in their adolescence for gratification is exploitation no matter how you look at it.
Also bear in mind...19 is not a baby or even a child. At that point you are legally an adult and even considered such in the eyes of the law (drinking age not withstanding in most places). You are certainly old enough to know right from wrong and how your actions will effect others.
These fools made their decisions and can now live with the consequences.

I just think that that age group and the small amount of difference in age makes it very difficult to say who was manipulated or raped...there are a lot of 16 year olds that are more mature/experienced than some 19 year olds and giving someone a rap like "rapist" in that type of situation would be careless and irresponsible. Rapist is the worst title a person can have IMO and just because u happen to be 2 or 3 years older, now u get the title of rapist? I don't know about that one...
Edit: and keep in mind I'm not referring to this situation only and definitely not a 12 or 13 year old...just referring to 15, 16, 17 year olds. I think at that age they have more in common with a 19 year old than even a 22, 23 or 24 year old would.
