Today, one of the girls in my office told me that some women are getting surgury to remove a couple of their toes just so that they can wear high heeled shoes better!
Now, I knew that there was some surgery to alter their feet, a bit, but actually removing their toes? [Cry]
I didn't quite believe this, so I just did a bit of net research. And I'm horrified to say that it's true! Here's a link:

If any ladies are in this forum and reading this thread, I would very sincerly ask them PLEASE don't ever consider doing this!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvOysTSW3lU&noredirect=1#t=416 I think this is impressive. I'm not a fan of long toes. Once she healed up I could deal with it.

Cutting off toes is too much though. I wonder how many non foot fetish guys would be put off by a woman missing pinky toes.

Well. I have always been told that men and women have different ways of solving problems....

But more seriously.. I can only see some valid reason for this, if the pinky toe is compromised, or unbearably painful and beyond saving.

Toe shortening surgery makes me weep for my planet.

And toe removal... RE: Men and women solving problems differently... Men experiencing the "mid-life crisis" buy a car or have an affair, supposedly. So the difference being an expression of outward destruction vs. an inward one.

I did meet a girl once who was a ballet dancer and had her fourth toe removed for the sake of doing points. She told me that after the surgery, she shattered her hip and was kicked out of dancing. At that point she had no ballet and 9 toes. Poignant.

I can only hope that too many women do not opt for this.

Or that high heels go out of style, since all they do is cause trouble, it seems.

This is terrible. I love high heels but removing a toe? That is grotesque. I hope that this doesn't catch on.

If you ask me, I don't think this will ever catch on, but what do I know, right?

Really any woman that does this is probably batshit insane, or really hates her feet. Maybe it separates the ones for us from those that aren't.

Idk, these days if you get a high profile fashion celeb/entertainer eg, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Middleton...etc getting the procedure done, I see 1000's following suit. Oh and if you get someone like Dr Oz, or famous doctors/Medical practitioners supporting the fact..... we're doomed as I see millions falling into the soup. But then again, what do I know too [Confused]

...Oh even worse, what if........ it becomes standard proceedure to a woman as circumcision is to a man.... girls pinky toes being cut at a young age.... [Thud] Aaaggghhhhh I making myself sick just writing this [Puke] ... excuse me while I kick myself in the nuts [Nut Kick]
