My gf and I want to start a website, including in it pics, bio and videos. At first this will be to get her name and basics out (she just started working As a model doing foot-fetish-related stuff here in our town, one of the first of her kind). It will be a place Where curious people can go to learn more about her. Eventually, though, we would like to charge some $ for more (VIP memberships, monthly users, etc. For more and better quality pics and videos, special requests, etc.). She's really taken to this. Does anybody with any experience in this stuff have any advice for us, and are there any websites that are recommended for us if we were to subscribe to one or two for a month or two (just to get a general feel for what the typical website offers for $)? I will add that we are not very tech-savvy with websites, but are smart and quick learners.

Many of the webmasters here at Wu's have their sites hosted under the wings of B-H-E, a company that has for many years specialized in the setting up and running of fetish (though mostly foot fetish) websites.
Contact Phil at admim@b-h-e.com and ask him any questions & concerns that you may have.
They also have their own billing company and offer a complete website building/hosting/billing package where you just supply the content and they take a percentage of any membership earnings.
They are, as many will vouch, good people. In fact, exceptional people.
This very board, Wu's Foot Forum, is also hosted by them, so that in itself should speak volumes about them.
Best of luck!

I'll mention the aspect that a lot of guys don't like to focus on -- but it's 100% necessary if you want income from your site... Marketing. You need both content and marketing.

A lot of the regular producers here go to BHE because BHE will help you market, so you can focus on production. There are also other ways to market on your own - typically social media, etc. I like to market live at fetish parties, so I will pass out cards, shake hands with the other guys, hit up models, etc. It works, and you need to do whatever you can to keep traffic coming in.

So make sure you have a plan for both content and marketing.

Very wise words. Social media is an often neglected aspect of running a website these days. Don't neglect the importance of Facebook, Twitter & Instagram (there's others too) though spending some hours each week will pay dividends. It just takes time.

Truth^

...and the single most important thing, even after all these years, is still... content

Perhaps you could start with a blog engine (hosted by yourself or not), to share some free content and see how it works.

Also to see if you want to go further later with a member area.

Websites like clip4sale can be helpful too to sell content, but I have no idea of their CGU.

I am in the middle of staring a website, It has been a year since I started trying to get this off the ground, depending on what you are offering and what your website will have be prepared to invest a lot of time and money. I cant stress enough the amount of time this will chew up.
Best suggestion I can give is find the exact niche you want to go with and stick to that. Also depending on content you wish to post check with your local laws in what you can and cant post.
There is so much more than just kicking off a website and I take my hat off to all website owners in the foot fetish community, I cant even imagine the time and effort they put into there sites to make it successful and keep us foot guys happy!

On the bright side of this if feet are your passion you will enjoy the process of it all.
Good luck!

It's not as important as you would think. 95% of the browsers on social media only want free pics and will never pay for a paysite. That is why they are on social media in the first place. I promote on SM..but show very little traffic or return from it in the long run. I would say perhaps on a start-up site it could be a great tool until you're established.
