I like a variety depending on the season as well darker in winter and lighter in spring/summer. So here are some examples of my wife's sexy feet.

Guy here too. Polish is most of the time a must. A nice dark red, blue, or black with a gloss finish.

I'm a seasonal color girl also. Lighter colors look especially nice with darker skin so they tend to come out in the summer. Spring, I'm sporting the bright stuff. Have yellow on right now and next up is lavender.
I do love dark colors and black is always great, but the problem is that even with base coat, dark polish tends to stain and leave traces or leave me with icky yellow nails. Not sexy!
