Found this on YouTube. A cute, young woman from California who likes to travel around the world recounts the time that she got a "creepy" foot massage on a night train to Prague.
She shows her soles often as she actually acts out the entire encounter based on what she says happened.
So what do you guys think? Do you think she overreacted? Do you think it was legitimately creepy as she claims it to be? Do you think she actually secretly enjoyed it?

I don't think she overreacted. I think any guy grabbing a random woman's foot that he doesn't know and massaging it and eventually biting her toes is creepy. I'm confident that she'd of enjoyed it had it of been from a husband, bf, or someone she knows that legitimately asked, unless she's the type that hates her feet being touched.

Though she apparently found the encounter as an aggregate whole to be weird, it seemed like what really sent her over the edge was the guy biting her toes and not so much the foot massage; even though the foot massage was still somewhat forced being that she was in sort of a trapped situation.
It sounds like had this guy just stuck to massaging her feet, she was prepared to leave her feet at the mercy of this guy for as long as he wanted to rub them, based on the fact that she said she basically acquiesced and laid back and closed her eyes to at least try and get some enjoyment out of it despite it being awkward, and simply wondering when it was going to be over.
She also mentioned that she didn't give the guy any sort of verbal encouragement, but it seems to me he may have interpreted her closing her eyes as being non verbal encouragement.
If he wanted to give her a foot massage, I personally would have used the fact that she already had her shoes off to rest her feet as an opener to potentially lead to a foot massage (since she stated she was already engaged in small talk with this guy), rather than just randomly beginning to massage her feet after she was drifting off to sleep.

Maybe he rubbed her feet just to get her to stop talking. God, what a tedious person.
Jokes aside, the dude was WAY out of line to touch her feet, or any part of her, without her express consent beforehand. Grabbing her foot forcefully to restrict her movement is assault. She clearly wanted to stop at that point.

This story is not funny. Its not harmless and its not right.
This is the type of shit that continues to make "normals" think we are perverted sex demons that need to be locked up. I dont understand how people cant see that.

On a serious note, that's a good point, as things (episodes) like this can really set bad impressions (labels) on us...which more than explains why our "quest" is always an ongoing battle and then some.

I think often times, our own greatest enemy is ourselves. Many times, foot enthusiasts make the fact that they like feet out to be a bigger deal than what it really is and this can come in many different forms. In many cases, something is only as big of a deal as you make it out to be.
In this particular case, I don't think it was the fact that he obviously liked feet that was "creepy", it's how he went about it. Regardless of where he decided to touch this young lady, you generally don't just start groping a stranger anywhere without their consent, especially when they're asleep. As I mentioned before, if he wanted to touch her feet that badly, why not use the fact that she already had her shoes off as his opening and ask her if she had been on them all day and from there, politely offer one. She may have been a bit more receptive to it had he done that.
Doing what he did is an example of turning something into a bigger deal than what it had to be. What could have been an innocuous, consensual foot massage ended up becoming a form of assault.
