Has a profile of a foot fetishist ever been determined. Is the foot fetish more common in some groups or classes than others. Is it common across the board? Are the rich or the poor more likely to have foot fetishes? Black, White, Hispanic, Asian? Are lesbians more likely to have fetishes for the feet of other women than strait women for men's feet? Is the foot fetish more common in certain countries? In certain regions of the US? I wonder.

I don't think so. I think its like any other sexual preference in that its just a preference

I've heard one statistic that as many as 20% of men have foot fetishes, but then I've heard an alternative figure of just 5%!

Well, it seems to me that the Asian culture is really into feet. Although, the Chinese foot binding was fucking gross to me. Feet can be very sexy when taken care of so I don't even understand why it is even viewed as a fetish when it is pretty much vanilla.

Brazilians and Italians seem to be well aware of and embrace foot admiration.

Any country that is more open about their sexuality like the romantic language countries or certain parts of Europe seem to be the most. Dougiezerts you're right MANY more than you might expect have a foot fetish.

In my opinion, I think anyone from any walk of life could have a foot fetish. It is a beautiful part of a body. I do believe it's way more common for a man to have a foot fetish, or anyone to have a fetish for a woman's feet, than that of a man's, bit they may be because I really hadn't heard of the latter. There are many different styles of feet, for every taste. I will never understand why it is still seen as something odd, for lack of a better word. As a woman, I can tell you, the foot has many erogenous zones, and it is sexually arousing to have your feet played with. I see how turned on my boyfriend gets just by looking at my feet, let alone touching them. There are many men, whether they claim to have a fetish or not, who find a woman in heels to be something very sexy. I just really believe anyone, from any walk of life can have a fetish. It's a preference, just like boob guys, leg guys, etc.

How exactly do you define "foot fetish"?

I think the real question is how many guys have actually been polled to get a real percentage. I'm sure more guys like the t&a rather than the feet, but what if it's 40 or 50% just bc a lot of guys are closeted about it?

I would assume the percentage is pretty low really. 40% to 50 % seems high. 5% might be too low but it seems closer to that. Even though I think a lot of people might be into feet to certain degrees, I imagine there aren't too many people who are in the range of a pretty strong fetish.

How about this one? Taken from an article.

This is a pop-psychology book written by two computational neuroscientists, in their own words. They developed a computer software program to identify and gather sexual search data from online public catalogs. After analyzing a year’s worth of terms entered into dogpile, the software detected: 2 million users conducted 400 million searches, and approximately 13% (55 million) were porn related. The authors then organized the porn searches into categories–only 20 interests accounted for 80% of all searches, (most of the data they collected has never been released, including a complete of what those interests were). After reading the book, and analyzing interviews/blog posts from Ogi Ogas, I was able to piece together a partial list. imageYouth (13.5%) Gay (4.7%) MILFs (4.3%) Breasts (4%) Cheating wives (3.4%) Vaginas (2.8%) Penises (2.4%) Blocked by the book 17. Transsexual 20. Granny 23. Celebrity 29. Asian 51. Massage 61. Virgin 79. Cheerleaders Butts (.9%) Feet: .175% — There were around 96,000 sexual searches for feet. Statistically, this put feet behind chests and butts, for the most-searched, sexualized, non-genital body part.
