Do you think that having a Foot Fetish is like being addicted to Drugs or Alcohol.

Yes, and I need help! I called the addiction tv man in scrubs that I saw on cable tv, but he hung up on me. He's an ass!

This is an absurd concept, the day someone tells me that they got cirrhosis of the liver from feet, or woke up puking after a night of overindulging on feet, or went cold turkey after withdrawal from feet, or someone they knew died of a foot overdose...

Yes, there is such a thing as an addictive personality that might not include drugs or alcohol (gambling comes to mind) but generally, true addictions can cause people to commit crimes and hurt others to satisfy their cravings, and they tend to cause addicts to spiral out of control, often ending in jail or dead.

Quick, how many of you have mugged an old lady to get a quick foot fix? I'll leave it at that.

Once again, I find myself agreeing with Michael Pitt. How 'bout that.

The closest thing sexually I can think of is a porn addiction. While similar to, it’s not as detrimental as drug addiction. You could be a tit man and beat it until it bleeds and you still won’t od.

I can think of plenty of examples.

There have been countless articles posted here about guys stalking women in an effort to indulge their foot fetish. These guys end up getting arrested and charged. I'd call that a problem.

Additionally, there are countless posts on here about guys stealing women's shoes and socks to fulfill themselves, often times ejaculating into them.

I'd certainly call that a problem that stems from an addiction.

You can get addicted to anything to where it has adverse effects on you financially, physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. It all depends if you are able to control it, or you let it control you.

I think if you can function normally, do your job, fulfill your duties and don't harm other people your foot fetish isn't an addiction. That's just my view.

I think that all the sneaking off with shoes and socks can be seen as something that might be a symptom of some sort addiction in a really broad sense. I used to do it all the time when I was younger, and I'm not proud and I do think it's unhealthy behavior (not that one should be ashamed).

I sometimes wonder if since there's so much easy access to foot fetish fulfillment--like stealing shoes, taking public pictures, asking to see women's feet etc.--makes people more prone to indulge sexual impulses in ways that could be deemed unhealthy.

I think you can become addicted to anything, but I also do think lots of people with foot fetishes tend to act pretty boldly in ways that seem to exhibit addictive behavior.

There's nothing unhealthy about simply taking pictures in public, or politely asking someone if you could take pictures of their feet and meeting someone new in the process.

Sneaking off with shoes and socks, or stealing someone's footwear to indulge yourself sexually though, is where it gets to be a problem. In more ways than one.

Same with crawling underneath desks around someone's legs to get foot pictures or sniff their feet. Or forcibly making them do something they don't want to do.

I wouldn't call it an addiction. It is a part of the female body we appreciate. Unless it has caused you to lose your job, become homeless, and do things that has hurt you in life then I would not consider you liking female feet as an addiction.

I have a foot fetish...I have had all my life..and sometime it’s an addiction..my weakness is women with high foot arches and high heels...

masturbating to a perfect pair of female feet can be highly addictive, especially when licking and smelling them while they're in your face as she strokes the weenie! [Hump] [Jerkoff]

You could end up on the negative side of it though if you lose control of it i would say.
Despite no side effects similar to other abuses like those you mentioned, over doing anything is generally accompanied with bad effects no matter what it is you´re up to i am inclined to believe.

I've never snorted ped egg dust off a hooker's ass in a public restroom. So No, it isn't an addiction.
