One of the only things that I've found disappointing since coming to this site is that there seems to be a good number of footlovers that are not very progressive thinkers. Since I'm a very liberal democrat I guess I wanted to think that all my brethren in footloving would be the same, or at least similar. I guess that's life. I shouldn't have expected that. What are your politics? Who do you support?

Republican all the way

Do you mean for the U.S. presidency? I'm voting for Obama. I could definitely be described as a liberal, but not on EVERY issue. I'm registered as an Idependent.

Remember, that conservatives just know they're right(no pun intended) and therefore aren't as reluctant to express their political opinions. So they may APPEAR to be overrepresented on this board.

Anyway, a thing for feet certainly shouldn't have an impact on someone's politics any more than liking a nice rack or fat booty!

And another anarchist, though a very liberal one, or should I say libertine? [Big Grin]

My way of thinking is that if it ever became an issue that conservatives would be outwardly hostile to footloving, just as they are on the gay issue. They would probably call us perverts and find something in the bible that would tell us that we're going to hell. Of course behind closed doors they may practice footloving themselves.

Yeah, i have actually seen footlovers on here saying they think being gay is wrong and stuff like that. i think if you put strong stock in the bible for sexual deviances or sexuality in general but then just decide that whatever you do is ok thats rediculous. just to say 'footloving isnt in the bible as bad and being gay IS' is outlandish to me also... just another way for someone uncomfortable with liking feet to feel a little better
obviously im pretty liberal for most things but dont really participate in politics

Independent and I did support Ron Paul but now I support Nader. Since Paul is out of the race completely.

I have never voted Democrat or Republican. Although I sincerely wish to vote for Nader again, I will vote for Obama as at least I think he is a moral individual, even if he picks a jerkoff like Biden for a running mate.

I consider myself a progressive, and cannot figure out why anyone would vote Republican-especially Conservatives. Always interesting to see how people with more exotic sexual interests would vote that way either, when the right Wing Extremists woudl be the first ones to violate our privacy and demonize our non -mainstean sexual preferences.

I peg myself as an independent. Independent of all the bullshit that is associated with politics. I will not herd myself with all the other "cattle" into a certain party be it Republican, Democrat, Liberal, Conservative etc. I vote based on the issues and who I think has the best chance and determination of getting the "promises" done. All though it is becoming increasingly harder to vote each time due to the fact that after voting someone into office and watching them piss all over there own promises it leaves me just saying "Fuck it".

One thing I want to know is...when someone asks a person "What are you politically?" and the person without hesitating says there either Republican or Democrat etc, what if your party stood for all of issues you stand against? Do you then switch allegiances??

I too am an independent voter, but I lean left on most issues. I feel that way, I'm able to vote for whichever candidate I believe is right for office.

libertarian anarchist. Supported Ron Paul despite the fact that i disagreed with him on some key issues. Didn't vote in the federal election because the remaining choices were so disappointing and write-in is a waste of time.

I just want the government to leave me alone to enjoy my vices.
