Cool topic, Yates. I change my desktop wallpaper about as frequently as I change underwear, but here's what I have on it as I sit here and type at this moment:

I recognize mame, but other than that one I don't know. I'm still learning all the different emulators and things...speaking of which, I think emuasylum.com is history. [Cry]

I used to go there and snag me a Genesis game or Turbo game every-so-often when the urge for something new hit...

My Bro came over and installed a Neo CD emulator for me over the weekend. It's an emulator that simply allows you to play your Neo CD's on your computer. Pretty sweet, considering my TV is pooped out and this is the only way for me to play those games right now. [Smile]

It's also gonna come in handy for some sweet screenshots. I'm a real nerd for video game art...studying the detail in the graphics and everything...now I can snap some screenshots, open those suckers up in Photoshop, and drool away! I can already see me screen-grabbing the hell out of Metal Slug 1 & 2...so much detail I can't take in as I'm dodging bullets while playing it. *lol* [Big Grin]

If I wasn't the horndog that I am, I might've just seen that desktop and simply assumed that you're a Rolling Stones fan since their logo looks a lot like that. hehe Instead, that desktop image of yours has me thinking about what might happen if I were to find myself in a sauna with three willing honkey tonk women. Now if I might tear myself away from all sorts of wonderfully lewd thoughts for a moment, here's a glimpse for you at one of my all-time favorite images that often graces my desktop:

Some might be surprised to find that there's nothing inherently sexual about that one, but I'd argue that my fetish for Fender Stratocaster guitars would certainly make that one qualify as pornography of the highest order for me!

Hey everyone,

I see some of you are into video games as well as female feet. Well, how about one of G4TV's Morgan Webb in heels? I grabbed the photo of her off the Web (no pun intended) and made this wallpaper in two minutes. I am not sure which magazine that comes from. I think it is FHM or Blender or one of those male genre mags. As for me, I was born in 1979, so my earliest game memories were of the Atari 2600. But to be honest with you, I never remembered Pong. [Smile]

Believe it or not, those Space Invaders are characters from a font CD I bought last year. Different ones come up with each character. I also have the Ms. Pac Man letter in a font that came with that.

I hate to sound like an idiot, but....

How is it physically possible that anyone could actually post his/her 'Desktop' onto the forum? I'm still struggling with ordinary pictures & avatars! That reminds me, can anyone help me with my avatar? Ever since it vanished (mysteriously) I can't re-post it! With each attempt all I ever get is a red-x. Sometimes this place makes me feel like the dumbest person on the planet! [Mad]

The desktops are nothing more than screenshots, well, at least in my case. It is just like posting a photo after that. Just place the [ img ] site name and [ /img ] and it posts. Of course you have to have the screenshot hosted on a server of some sort.

All you have to do is hit the "printscreen" button on your keyboard and then open what ever image program you have and paste it. Paint will work fine.

I use a program called Screen Hunter. It's a good program to have if you have tech questions, alot easier to show someone an "error" than to try to explain to them.

Footspy,

The Mac has a 3 key combination that you click. One of them just takes the photo of the screen. The other brings up the crosshairs and you make a marquee selection of the part of the screen you want to use. From there, you hear a little camera shutter and it produces a PDF file on your desktop for you.

That's actually exactly how I do it.

1. Go to your desktop.
2. Hit the 'print screen' key on your keyboard.
3. Open up Microsoft Paint and paste the image.
4. Save the image to your harddrive.
5. Upload the image to Image Shack or the image host of your choice.
6. Post the pic here!

Unfortunately, there isn't. Just some talk about the Sundance Film Festival. I'm a big fan of hers--especially after seeing her feet in an episode of "ER". Her character decided to go skinny dipping in Lake Michigan. She's flirting with Dr. Carter as she raises one leg out of the water very seductively. I've been looking for that clip ever since!!
