I know one thing that definitely sits atop my list this Christmas - The new Ralph Lauren fragrance Polo Black. That is some really good stuff. Also on my list, one of those arm-bands to support your iPod when you work out.

Happy Birthday AF! [Thumbs Up]

Hmmmm, I think I could go for having the two Battle of the Planets box-sets of DVD's for Christmas in my stocking. The original Science Ninja Team Gatchaman subtitled and remastered, the chopped up Battle of the Planets and G-Force episodes that airred here in the U.S. back in the 70's and 80's (good for trips down memory lane), and hopefully getting to see the ENTIRE storyline play out this time! Yes, I'm a geek, but I'm a happy geek. [Cool]

I could also go for a DVD of Serenity, which will probably be out by then. Just saw it again at the theatre today and can't get enough of it. [Big Grin]

I also wouldn't turn down a Nintendo DS...along with Nintendogs, Warioware Touch, Gunstar Superheroes, and all the 2D Castlevania games available for it, and I think I could be content. [Smile]

Happy birthday, AFfootdude05! I would've baked you a cake, but I sincerely doubt that you would've been willing to take your chances on any batter coming out of Calico Jack's kitchen. LOL...

Thanks Calico, even though my birthday wasn't really a blast - to start it off, my sister had friends spend the night, and I smelled one of her friends' feet - and was CAUGHT IN THE ACT - my sis has had friends periodically spend the night every now and then the last several years, and I get caught on my birthday. Just now, she stopped over (i had to give her the phone), and was like "what were you doing to my feet?" I just told her "nothing," and feel so damn embarrassed.

I want a nice digital camera for my trip to Japan next month. I'm graduating from college in December and taking my first international trip before I start my career. I hope to get some shots of the scenery as well as some candids. [Big Grin]

I remember watching Battle of the Planets as a kid back in '79 or so when I was in the 6th grade. I haven't seen that show in 25 years I'm sure. The thing I actually saw on DVD that I want is the old Sid and Marty Kroft "Land of the Lost." I used to watch those as a kid back in the mid 70's every friggen Saturday morning. Cheeziest special FX and story lines, but entertaining as hell for a 6 year old at that time.

CHAKA PAKOONY!!!!

Dude! I remember "Land of the Lost". My grey cells ain't what they used to be, but I seem to remember something about a baby dinosaur, giant strawberries, and hissing aliens (oh, and the cute girl with the braids and the checkered shirt). I also remember the opening theme song scene where they go over the falls in their raft.

You may be able to find a box set with "Land of the Lost" and the claymation classic "Davey and Goliath" if you look hard enough...lol!

It's nice to know I'm in good company because Battle of the Planets and Land of the Lost were two of my all-time favorites when I was a kid. If y'all are interested in collecting the complete Battle of the Planets on DVD, I'd strongly recommend that you buy the individual DVD volumes (1 thru 6) rather than the big Battle of the Planets - Ultimate Set DVD because it omits a number of episodes that can be found on the regular volumes. Land of the Lost is a bit more manageable to collect on three volumes, one per season. As for Davey and Goliath, I remember those fondly as well, but I also remember having thought that Art Clokey must've finally given up smoking some serious hash by 1960 to have gone from Gumby to Davey and Goliath. Those surreal early episodes of Gumby in 1957 were a claymation acid trip that for me really amounted to a visual representation of an infant's night terrors. Brilliant stuff!

Sleestack! Thank you, I couldn't remember the name of those little buggers.

I remember the ol' Gumby flicks and how abstract they were. I knew that Art Clokey did the Gumby films, butI didn't know that he was resposible for Davey and Goliath too. Wow, he must've been born again or something.

Back to Christmas, my wife and I decided to try something a little different this year. Instead of buying each other gifts, we're going to buy the gifts for ourselves and wrap them for each other to be opened on Christmas Day. It takes the guess work out of what to get each other and we're guaranteed to get what we want.

Sony Cybershot DSC-H1, here I come...

In all seriousness, I'd want a laptop with WI-FI and then to get wireless IN in my house. And a pair of Britney Sweetstinks socks....

More Craftsman sockets and wrenches to fill in the gaps in my tool box. Also, 17 inch OZ Superleggera rims with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires for my WRX.

[Cheers]
