I'll start out with two things
• Got a Sam's Club Membership - not bad for $40 bucks [total] a year and splitting it with my roommate and

• spent three hours in the eye doctor
• drove in a torrential downpour that saw several cars pull over....i held it out and didnt have to stop even though there was a second or two where i couldn't see a thing
• spent $35.42 on a 20-pack of razor blades [Gilette mach 3]...didnt know they came in packs that large until I met Sam's Club haha...was a little unsure if that was a good deal or not

As far as razor's, I use Gillette Sensor, a two blade cartridge that I prefer to the three or four blade because they can get into tighter places. I can generally get a five pack at the super-market for less than $6.ºº.
One thing I did today: Threw football with a friend.

I awoke much earlier (6:53 AM) than I planned but was good for nuthin' so I prepared a light breakfast. Couldn't think of a thing to do so I took a nap on my couch with the TV on.
I awoke much later (4:52 PM) than I expected. The day being shot for my agenda, I prepared a small dinner. Gathered some laundry and while that was running, took all my recyclables into town, bought some mixer for my liquor and some smokes. Completed the laundry on my return (a bit of guitar practice while waiting).
Put some of my new mixer with my booze and started this missive.

So far i watched my son get on the bus for school and then in like 15 minutes i am taking my wife for a treatment with my two year old. I flipped off an 85/90/120? year old woman today. Before I get completely bombarded with criticism, I COULD NOT SEE WHO WAS IN THE CAR! She cut me off I flipped her off and when I pulled next to her she waived at me and smiled a grandmotherly little smile and I felt as big as an atom. I was glad no one was in the car with me so I could keep my shame to myself. OH big man picking on an old lady. Good job.

I got laid off 11 months ago. Since then the only job I could find was a home remodeling gig for about 65 days. Any way my unemployment benefits have run out and my savings are depleted. The govt. report just out today says that unemployment is at a seven year high. I don't know where they get their info. I haven't seen things this bad around here in the 23 years I've lived here. Just finished the arduous, but rewarding, task of preparing the stuffing for the turkey. The process is about 3 days long but the last step is very labor-intensive (once you start, you can't stop or everything is ruined...really could use a "Pause" button sometimes). Once my guests taste it, there's my reward. Recipe was handed down to me from my grandmother who learned it from hers - goes back at least 150 years.
