This week starts a little ongoing event on Soles of Silk for about the next month or so. Two photo sets each week in attempts to get through some of my backlog of older sets that I just haven't been able to get onto the site for one reason, or another.
First up is Ashlyn. I love Ashlyn and her smelly little size 5 feet. If you remember, the very first set we did involved a pair of old boots. When she pulled them off her feet I could smell her boots a few feet away while doing the photos. It's become an ongoing rib whenever I talk to her. Anyhow, when she suggested using her longboard for a set, I was all for it. I love when my models come up with their own ideas, especially if it pertains to something they enjoy. Ashlyn loves riding her longboards, so I told her we should combine it with some knee high socks and sneakers. Yes, I totally wanted to have her smelly little feet inches from my face once again. Mission accomplished and we took so many photos and didn't even realize we were 40 pictures in and her socks hadn't even come off yet. Oh the slow tease!
Next up is Nikki. This set I've been holding onto for just over two years. It was shot when I first got my new camera in 2012 and, to be perfectly honest, wasn't as comfortable with it as I am now. I wasn't in love with some of the depth of field settings I had used. Although the setting was beautiful (a waterfall), the lighting wasn't amazing and I didn't have my best photo day. Sad thing is, this was her idea for a set and I spent it learning some stuff about my new camera. Anyhow, since I had done a ton of sets with Nikki only a few weeks prior to these, it took me a while to even get to post any of the sets I did this day. I'm finally getting it online now and although not my favorite set with her (due to my own efforts), there are still some great shots of her wet, even pruned up, soles.
