We got a couple of inches of snow and around here, Virginia, that means everything grinds to a halt. Schools let out and businesses close early in a state of total panic. The reality is that we don't get enough snow annually to warrant having a lot of snow scraping/sanding equipment. When you couple that with the fact that because of the concentration of government employees south of the DC area who may not be from places where they get any snow at all--- you have disaster on the roads. Most places close just to avoid the hassle, not to mention the fact that many of the schools have "snow days" already built into their schedules. Needless to say, Kay was sent home from her job early this morning and spent the rest of the day playing hooky. While I was at work, she took it upon herself to take a few pics on her own. I think she has a new appreciation for those ladies on here who routinely take their own pics, like TT and PerfectPeds. So, without any further ado, here are a few. (Hey, that rhymed!)

The color is great and the thong-style sandal / flip flop element adds to these photos nicely. Like you, I live in an area where just a few inches of snow pretty much paralyzes the community. What a great way to take advantage of a snow day.

Kay, you did a great job! splendid actually! I love the polish, so well applied! you took some cute poses and really rocked the pics! the first pic is just darling! third pic is a creative way of including the sole with the view of the toes! and the sandal was a nice sexy touch to close.

She had a little accident with that right toe and she was trying to hide it, but I figured, what the heck, it'll grow back in a week or so.

it's team work (and until you pointed it out, didn't really notice the accident. she hid it well)
while the top-down view is hot with this nail polish, sometimes, a head on view is also a great mix... so team-work is optimum
By the way, my wife left me two pics by surprise also.. i'll have to post them soon.

Hey Kay! Nice shots! I love the color on your toes too. I have on similar that's OPI All Rose Lead To Rome -- I am just about out and I'm sad because I can't find it anywhere. I think they may have discontinued it!
Your toes look so pretty in that color. I have to say I like the barefoot/jeans combo. It's comfortable, cozy and relaxing. It gives a good feeling.
That one where your foot is completely twisted around to show your sole with your toes still facing up -- you are flexible!!!!
