December on Soles of Silk is going out with a bang. Last week Mindee hit the 6,000 photo mark and joined the 6K Club. This week, Melani reaches 1,000 and becomes the 18th model to join the 1K Club (she only debuted last year). There are a few more goodies left to come as well, but this week is about Melani.
This set was done on a scorching hot day after we had already shot a number of sets. Well, it came after a nap as Melani dozed off in my car between sets and I was left holding her feet - rubbing them for over an hour. I would have kept going, but we needed to get in this set and then were off to watch a baseball game.
Needless to say, with it being so hot, Melani's feet were soaking up the sun since those socks were mostly black. Those socks also soaked up her sweat as her feet got quite damp in a short amount of time. I love how you can even see through the sock a little. Believe me, her soles were warm to the touch here.
