I still feel that it's not instilled in us at birth, but rather that it's something which is triggered in us by any number of psychological, social, or emotional factors along the way during our early development and understanding of sexuality. This would perhaps account for why we all report different ages for when we first became consciously aware of it. I imagine (like any complex behavior) it is a mix of nature and nurture. We are genetically predisposed to fetishize the feet, and some combination of factors in our environment catalyze the full manifestation of the phoot phetish phenomena... I concur with Calico Jack, it sure IS fun to talk about it among people who understand I have loved feet for as long as I can remember, and I vividly recall how I perceived my own feet almost genitally... I got my fetish when I was about 7 or 8. i was wrestlingm a ball away from my brother in the living room when the ball got loose and I lunged for it toward where my big sister was sitting. Some of my earliest memories were of my fascination with female feet. I think my mom kissed my feet because she does that with ever little baby I've seen her with like my grandchildren. I was told that i used to play with my mother's friends feet since i was 3 years old. I was also told that when i was around that age i had a Filipina babysitter that was ALWAYS barefoot around the house and she used to tickle me with her feet (that might also explain my love for Filipina women). ^ true. i think its how some people say certain people have an alcholic gene, but you wont become an alchoholic until you take a sip. Just like foot fetishism usually theres a certain event that takes place that makes the fetish more intense.
And when i think i about it is weird how certain womens feet we stay away from and others we are drawn to because of who they are. I might have the most bizarre story so far regarding the developement of my foot fetish. Stick around.
I am 19 right now and I vaguely remember (age 3-5) noticing the female feet in my family. This is primarily my mom and her mom, my grandmother.
