i don't make a habbit of saying it to folks, but most can figure it out when they hang with me... but strangely, the closest guy friend I have don't really know. they became close at a time where I kept it from them and just have continued. but those who know i met more recently and i don't care what they think.

Some of them know. I know my best friend knows because he came to stay a while back and remarked "dude, what's with all the foot porn?" after looking on my PC, hehe. I'm guessing people in the role playing society know because of comments I've made. Probably made it most obvious by asking Mel to include a foot worship scene in her novel.

There is that maxim: "And the truth shall set you free."
Unfortunately, as is often the case in life, there's a line that separates idealism from reality. We'd all like to be fundamentally honest, I think, but more often than not, the nature of the world dictates otherwise. Such is the case here. One of my mates categorically knows because I told him; my other friends do not. That's about the long and the short of it.

I definately understand what your saying JarArr, but i feel to often we dont take enough individual responsibility for the, 'nature of the world'. After all society doesn't exist seperately to the indivdual, it is what we make it. History is littered with examples of us simply acting in accordance with the wrongs of society, sometimes with terrible consequences, and I'm still doing it today. Basically what I'm saying is society is made up of individuals therefore it not the nature of the world that dictates our behaviour, but our behaviour which dictates the nature of the world. I hope I haven't gone to far off the topic of beautiful feet, one thing I'm sure we can all agree on

it depends. my mature friends know because i know that they understand its a part of a womans body that i love. then you have the stupid friends that like to make fun of everything, so they dont know about it. one things for sure is that im very good at making comebacks, so i always prepare myself for those who like to make fun of us foot men.

Not at all, Jacob. And you're fundamentally correct. As Jodie Foster's character says in "Contact": "I always thought the world is what we make of it". But being selective with the truth can be a survival mechanism and important tool in helping us stave off harrassment/persecution and get what we want. Yet, as you correctly assert, if no one actually made a stand and broke with the conventions of the day, we'd all be worse off. I'm just not personally given to martyrdom.
