Last Saturday night the wife and I went out to a nice dinner and then drove to the local casino. I must say that it was pretty cold sat night in Kentucky prob around upper 20's. What I was surprised about was the ladies that I saw at dinner wearing flip flops and open toe heels for such cool weather. Not that I minded. But once we got to the casino it was barefeet and flip flops all night long. Everything from french pedicures to bright reds and pinks to just plain. And even the plain toes were looking pretty sexy. The wife hit it pretty big so once we returned home it wass feet for me... Anyone else notice toes in cooler weather.

It seems more and more common to see flip flops year round. Yesterday was about 40 degress and sure enough I saw at least 5 ladies with flip flops or some other type of sandal.

I live in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area. Last December I was at my girlfirend's company Christmas party. It was in the teens, very windy that night and I would say at least more than half of her female coworkers were wearing strappy shoes of some kind with their dresses. No one thought anything of it. It's a nice treat to get in the middle of winter for a foot guy. Even then every once in a while I'll see a girl (usually a college student) out at the grocery store late at night around this time of year with flip flops on - if there isn't any snow on the ground. We've actually haven't had too much this year. I can count on one hand how many times I've had to clear my driveway since November (about four I think).
GO WINTER FLIP FLOPS!!

I agree with you Lyrical, it seems like 50 degrees or higher and you'd see the flip-flops and sandals bust out, but nowadays it can get in the upper 30's and you'd see a increasing percentage of girls showing off their feet. It seems as if the bar has been lowered. It used to be when it got mild out, the feet come out, but now when the snow melts, the feet come out. Just something I seem to have noticed.
