1. The rise (and fall) of amateur sites. It was earlier said that many people get into it to make money. The sad reality is that few sites do make money.
2. Getting and retaining models for a site. There's a few threads that discuss how 'normal' people view foot fetish as something queer. To quote one thread "The person needs help." You may get a girl to model for you once and, more than likely, that will be the end of it especially when the sensibilities set in. No matter if it's an amateur model or professional, the life span of a foot fetish model is extremely short. This is the main reason you don't see work pushing the barrier like the work found at hotlegsandfeet.com.
3. The name of the game is money. It takes money to set-up properly and offer high quality work. It takes money to get and retain models. It takes money to set-up a good pay site. The problem is that most go into providing content without a lot of cash, a long-term vision or plan. Additionally, since a lot of 'normal' people see this whole foot fetish thing as weird, there isn't a whole lot of venture capital to do the whole thing right.

Venture Capital...for a foot fetish website, you must be joking right.
What venture capitalist is going to pump money into a foot fetish website when there are Google's and YouTube's out there to be discovered.
Darling, take some business classes...capital flows where investors can get the highest returns. There is no capital because the yields on porn websites are so miniscule no matter how much money you throw at them. Sure you can make a couple of hundred thousand from a good site, but to attract capital you have to show there is room for growth and lots of it.
The online porn industry may have a cap of few billion or so dollars, but it so fragmented that nobody has the chance to get wildly rich and that my dear is how you attract Venture Capital.

Don't take it personal dear, I was a financial analyst for the largest asset managment firm in Los Angeles, not to mention I have degrees in Economics and Finance. I suspect your in a little over your head trying to connect VCs and foot fetish websites.
Question, what is your experience with VC's, or are you a VC yourself?
I am not a VC, however, I do have connections to a very prominent VC firm in the area, a principal is close friend and mentor.

If you really believe Foot Fetish could be deserving of such venture capital, that would be the place I would start. They accept small to large size companies, but were focusing on mid size to large companies probably about 8-10 months ago.

1.) I like candid dangling and dipping. I don't have time to be roaming around looking for candid footshows.
