Internet activity was closely monitored at my last job; many websites (porn of course, but also myspace, popular car enthusiast forums, etc.) were blocked. My job now is to be the best college student I can be. I've been tempted to visit Wu's while working in the library (on my laptop), but it seems like I'm constantly surrounded by nosy people...

We're on a closed network at work that doesn't allow outside internet access other than for the business. However, I wouldn't do it if I could. The job is my livelihood and there's more than enough free time at home to spend here.

Previous job I could - nothing blocked, no tracking set-up, computer was set up such that no one could see it unless they came into my office and walked around behind my desk giving me a couple seconds to Alt-Tab to an Excel file. Current job is in an open office with tracking and blocking system.
