Of course, I'm sure we've all been in that situation at one time or another. There is a reason my friends don't know I have a foot fetish, and for that same reason, I intend on keeping it that way.

When I've been in that situation, I would act like I also didn't understand how anyone could like feet, but I would also say that people like what they like. Some guys like ass, others like feet. That's their prerogative.
