I have found both to be appealing. For me I guess it depends upon other things such as the construction of the rest of the foot. For example, if the ends of the toes are very round the square cut might seem a little out of place; likewise, flatter-ended toes with round nails.

Slight preference for square, largely because I've seen phenomenal rounded nails on girl's feet.

Yeh I'd have to say that I prefer the square look, and with concern to length as long as it isn't way past the end of the toe its good for me.

i really don't care either way. as long as they look good, are done well, and aren't too long. i don't like long toe nails. but that is just me.

has anyone noticed tho that it seems that the longer they are, the more rounded they are? and as much as i like square ends, if the corners of the nail extend that much beyound the toe, its a turn off for me too.

Slight preference for squared. But, as others have mentioned I've seen tons of rounded that I just love.

Square, trimmed. HATE long toenails. HATE, HATE, HATE long, round toenails. Plus, I read somewhere (wife's Cosmo, on the john probably) that square was the correct way to do it.
