Thanks everybody for your thoughts on this topic. I myself have gone for women with not so great looks just because their feet were drop dead gorgeous...
And to answer your question Soopaman Lova- yes, an ugly woman's feet are easier to get simply because her self esteem may not be too high and she'd be happy that she's receiving some type of attention. I speak from my experience with such women.

It all depends on what I want out of the relationship; if I'm looking long term, then I require some looks. If I'm just looking for some foot action, then Hell yeah, ugly chicks with nice feet fill the bill....done it plenty of times.
But in either case, I require "nice" (the type I prefer) feet.

It really doesn't matter how hot a chick is... if she has ugly feet I'll probably rule her out quick... But a chick with marginal looks, maybe on the heavy side will always have potential if her feet are hot!!

Its not all about the feet for me. I am into the whole package and if I find something unappealing then it doesn't matter how hot her feet are.

I absolutely agree with Brek. Don't get me wrong, butt ugly is a turn off regardless of the feet, but average to slightly below average with great feet is actually my preference.

This really piques my curiosity. So, let's say you had a choice between two woman who had equally beautiful feet and equally wonderful personalities where

you would prefer the second??
How come? To be clear - I am not saying I do not understand someone being happy with the second.
I am saying in this situation, why would you choose the second?

It's all about the feet with me but in the situation you describe I think I would go with the second girl because she would appreciate the attention more. I have been with women who were rather plain, even a little frumpy looking but had wonderful feet and believe me, they loved the attention of having their feet worshiped and would do anything for me. My best foot jobs were from women who wanted to please me as much as I did them.

I totally get that and 100% agree with it. I have a really hard time enjoying myself if my partner is not enjoying the experience. The more my partner enjoys and appreciates the experience the more I enjoy it. But that was not a factor in my question.
I am in the minority in that looks always matter to me. I fully understand that looks are more important to some but what I don't understand is the preference for someone less attractive.
Is it a self confidence thing?
You sort of answered my question but you twisted it (or I wasn't really clear).
Assuming all other things equal, including appreciation/enthusiasm why would someone not prefer the more attractive woman. Perhaps I am just too hung up on looks so I won't get it.

Everyone else makes it sound as if only hot girls have ugly feet while the ugly ones always have nice feet. "GoodGuyNeighbor" said it so accurately one day when he answered someone's question. I forgot what the question was, but his answer was "If the woman is hot, common sense tells you that her feet are very nice."

Some of the answers in this thread play right into the stereotypes people have of foot fetishists. When I hear people say that foot fetishists will worship the feet of just about any girl, I think they're right after having read some of the things in this topic. If this woman http://www.commentbuddy.com/comments/Ugly-Women/seekcodes_227_5921.jpg had the SEXIEST feet you'd ever seen in your life, would you pick her over any girl in Californiabeachfeet.com, for example?
I don't know how people can say some of these things and then WONDER why foot fetishists get a bad rap?

this is very true, no lie. as far as i'm concerned, i base it on which girl would i realistically be able to get. as much as i'd go for the pretty female with equally pretty feet anyday of the week, i'd have no problem with the mediocre looking girl with nice feet either. if i had to choose, i'd choose the cute girl with cute feet. but, in reality, the not so cute one would actually give me the time of day. doesn't mean i won't drool over GGN's pics Posts: 2128 | Registered: Jun 2006

National - you need to stop judging other people just because you don't like their answers. I have seen many so called "hot" females who had ugly feet (to me). Each of us have different likes and dislikes on what is ugly and what isn't and you don't have a monopoly on judging such things or making comments about other people's choices. Some answers don't make sense to you? OK, but theirs are just as valid as yours and they have as much right to say them in this forum as your childish reply.

Answers are valid so long as they are honest. I agree with national and think that some are not being honest, perhaps even with themselves.
It really sounds like a confidence thing. Those who lack confidence have already decided all they can get are the average to below average looking woman so they convince themselves that that is what they prefer. There is nothing wrong with that, but it is not really being honest. And it is a little sad because you really never know until you try.
You seem very defensive. No one said people don't have different likes and dislikes. Of course that is true.
I am still waiting for a response to my original question. Since we aren't pulling punches in this thread - I call bullsh!t. No one is going to prefer "average" over what they find attractive when all other factors are equal.
Mind you - I carefully chose the word attractive because attractive is without a doubt better then average, yet the word does not have any specific connotations about physical features that make a woman attractive to you.
