So my GF got some new shoes for starting work yesterday, actually very pretty ballet flats, but MY GOD they make her feet smell like melted plastic. What a bummer. She's washed them but the smell is still there dammit! I want sweaty smell
Anyone else encountered this? Are they just cheapo shoes?

You poor guy! They sound like cheap shoes, maybe you should buy her a pair for work that won't smell like plastic.....she would love you forever!

Can't go wrong with Naot Sandals--just bought a pair today for my lady--they create the best smell in the world when worn for a while.

HA HA, Legend Status, unfortunately not, I am only an Elite Trooper....but I continue to contribute and maybe one day I will reach the ranks of so many that came before me.
A real Legend is MD, she is inspirational in so many ways.
but, for the scent deal...... as long as the flats aren't plastic, then, the scent will change. new shoes need a break-in period of time. my wife's ballet flats took several wears to before getting a scent going. now it's the perfect kind for me (and i hope it doesn't get too rank too soon)
