I thought about this yesterday, you know closet foot fetishists, they guys who fantasise about womens feet all day and long to experience them but don't or can't for fear of rejection? Do they essentially make this all harder on themselves?
I imagine they spend all day watching foot worship videos and reading fictional stories to satisfy their cravings and I think this pushes them further away from developing the confidence to admit to a girl they like it.
This is because most of these men like the stories about the man be forced to smell and lick the feet of a powerful female, because ultimately that's what they want after so long without. However, within these stories are basically women using words like 'slave', 'foot-boy' 'bitch' etc all directed at the man.
Although these stories are quite exciting they could associate the fact that the women have so little respect for the man and some are disgusted by it and don't do it to indulge him buy to humiliate him with their stinky feet and ammuse themselves that they think that real women would react like that. Although it's fun to read in reality they couldn't handle the shame and thus keep it locked away.
So is it an endless circle? Becuase they do this and they do it so often does it damage their hope that they could ever have a loving relationship with a woman who appreciates their fetish, and thus they seal their own fate?

I got a somewhat related story about people who won't admit their fetish. My best bud knows about my foot fetish, and so this one time I happened to have a picture of feet on my laptop. Well he came along and looked at it and was like "I think I can see why you like feet, that's a cute picture."
I thought it was pretty funny. I am pretty sure he doesn't actually have the fetish on the same level as us, but maybe on some obscure part of his sexuality he can see the beauty in feet as well.
As to the main topic, I can see how some people who are in to the domination aspect of this fetish may be reluctant to admit to their partners that their fantasy is to be a slave. It doesn't really appeal to me, and I would certainly be a bit nervous to admit to such a thing. But, I don't necessarily think that it has to "seal their fate". To take a page out of GQ's teachings, their is always gonna be a girl who will be willing to satisfy certain fantasies, and if not then let's see if the girl across the bar will. xD

Ahhh yes indeed, the life of a foot subbie is a difficult one... filled with peril & perceived servitude. The many confirmations of women's disgust in real life only makes the rabbit hole go deeper unfortunately.

I agree with this assessment and I believe that many foot men have a deep shame and keep it locked away so they don't have to confront potentially harsh realities.
I, as a foot man used to be a frightened little foot boy until I finally realized and embraced who I really was... a perverted man who loves to lick & sniff feet, Hee Hee! My accomplishment has been the reconciliation of these incongruent forces (ie hot self-respecting women & my healthy love of their feet) into win-win situations

I do believe that a lot of foot guys have tried to hide and deny their fetish. Not so much these days, as we're now much more open sexually. But most definitely 50 years ago.

Also there are a lot of guys too that like feet sexually but genuinely don't have a fetish for them. Babeflover, I believe, is one of those folks. I also conducted a poll and I was surprised by how many guys like feet but don't have a fetish. And it isn't that they refuse to carry the title, but more or less have feet as another side course rather than the main entrée.

i dont really put very much into what other guys are thinking b/c, like everybody else, i have the own problems and issues.
but yeah, they shouldn't hide it. b/c when you hide things like that, they can come out in ways you never wanted them too, TIGER!

I totally agree that women want to be worshiped and adored and that's why, even if you have the most out of control foot fetish if you word it properly a woman can think you are the sweetest loveliest man alive.

Really? I guess I can be called a closet foot fetish guy. Here I'm open about it because I can be, but if I'm with a girl I won't openly say I have a foot fetish. But you conducted this polling here?
Wouldn't it be fair to say that if a guy has actually come on here and registered a username, he pretty much does have enough liking for feet for us to call it a fetish? I mean, he's come pretty far off the beaten path just by joining here... and then he denies he really has much of a thing for feet??

I can recall time when I expressed my love of female feet and people were shocked as if they had never heard of such a thing. I have spoken to severl friends lately who tell me I was just ahead of my time noe that they see so many reording artists and celebrities that flat out say they have a foot fetish etc. Times have definitely changed from the early days that is for sure. But don't be deceied, people have been sucking toes etc for years and years. Like the old saying goes, there's nothing new under the sun.

When I use the term 'foot fetish' I'm not really talking about an unhealthy infatuation with feet. I think foot fetish is a term that many people understand it as far as kinky things go, is extremely common.
'Foot Fetish' is a term that has evolved to basically be excepted as meaning someone sexually aroused by feet. Not just that they need the feet.
