National Fashionistas -- Week 11. The Contest and Passion to Famous Feet.
Salvatore Ferragamo developed a passion for the craft of shoe-making. His love for feminine feet and his care for dressing the hottest pair into his quite expensive models of shoes is the inspiration behind the legacy of this contest.
The visionary himself became the decadent commodity for the actresses through the Golden Era of Hollywood such as Greta Garbo, Rita Hayworth, Marlene Dietrich. His link to those stars is the reason he is God for anyone wanting to follow in his path. Steve Madden, Jimmy Choo, Christian LouBoutin are the modern-day eras of what Salvatore was way back when. They all give thanks to him.
This contest continues in Salvatore's passion to go on a season long search to see who will don the newest edition of the most coveted shoes that is the foundation of the business. If he were still alive today, which one girl would he make his shoes for? Together, we will find that answer.

I don't have the accounts of all of the women in this contest either because she doesn't have one or because the last time the girl tweeted something, it was a long time ago. Nonetheless, as this is about the experience with our famous women, let's get to know what their daily errands are and what's currently running through their minds.
My goodness!!! These pictures and videos just faded off of my monitor screen and burned into my soul!!!
For one thing, I've never seen Jennifer's legs look THIS good.
I don't even know where to start because I've never seen an assortment of pictures like these all bunched up in one place. When it comes to celeb feet, you are truly in a league of your own, and I don't care what he says, what she says, what they say or what it says.
Holy fuck look at CANDICE!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?!?! I'm in heaven because this is what dreams girls are supposed to look like in real life. Her feet are so hot, it's unreal. I mean just look at the rest of her body for Christ's sake. Her friends are ... delicious. I like the one in the end, too, Miranda. Girls that sweet have feet that taste just as sweet and smell just as sweet.
And Ashley .... Jesus Christ.....
And what about Megan? Man, if I get rejected from Heaven, I want Megan to be my maker down below. WOW!!! Mendes has no shot. When I saw Megan getting out of the car, I knew it was over for Eva.
It's going to take more than one post to really thank you for all the hard work you put into to make this as awesome as it truly is. There is so much going on in here that words can't begin to explain just amazing all of this is.
I swear, you're treating us like spoiled children getting more spoiled. Not that there's anything wrong with that because I really love this contest and the fact that it makes the topics of discussion famous feet completely worthwhile (finally!).

I know. I don't see the point in going anywhere else to discuss these famous women and their feet. This is the one place where everything comes together because it shows the best pictures and the video contents are great to watch and enjoy. All the girls are here and it's just all here to have a great debate and to get to stimulate yourself from time to time.
Victoria Justice is just unstoppable. That is a playoff contender right there. Unfortunately, I can't say that with the same conviction for AnnaLynne. She's hanging on to all the hope that's left. Hopefully Megan can take care of her. And doesn't Megan look like someone who knows what she's up to or what. Her feet are just excellent with the shoes she has on. It looks like they were made just for her. But what a tough match that will be. To image that in actuality you can get to choose between Mendes and Fox to have your way with their feet with is something that not a lot of foot fetishists can answer the question easily to.
I love the Tisdale clip because it shows her soles and I found it quite hilarious (in a cute way) that the clip went in slow motion to repeat what we just saw.
Is it me, or had Joanna Krupa had a number of touch matches in a row while Marisa has had some easy matches (except for last week)? If there's anyone other than Miller who can put a stop to Joanna, it's Stacy. I was hoping to see Joanna vs. Kim after watching the clip National showed us last week. Marisa is guaranteed another win while Joanna's match will be a nail biter.
The first match I got myself off to this week was the Kelly Brook-Katrina Bowden match. For a match that's between two women with bad records, I found it very hard to make a choice on. But I went with Brook ultimately Her soles are HOT!
And for their clips? Well, the scenes speak for themselves. Loved it!

I know, it seems that way to me, too. Every week there's a big adventure for Joanna. But she somehow manages to get through to stay right behind Miller in that division race. This is great news because when she faces Miller in the rematch later this season, Joanna will find a way to get through to her, too. This match is important to both Stacy and Joanna. A loss will put Joanna in the wild card chase (a race that a lot of other girls are in and any two of them can get those two spots), while for Stacy it makes her chances of making the playoffs not so good. But luckily for her, Kim and Carmen have tough matches as well. It also seems to me that when Stacy has a touch match, Carmen and Kim have tough matches as well.
No one catches a break in this contest which makes it so compelling and so intriguing.

Kelly Brook is looking like the girl we've been missing from the beginning. She's making her matches more interesting for someone who's holding the record she has. But let me tell you, Katrina Bowden is making that match against Kelly interesting. It's like "WOW! Am I really seeing this right now?" Happy she finally got into a bikini, she looks great.

I agree. However, I went with Bowden. If you see the clip with her on her knees, looking for something on the floor, I bet none of us were looking at her ass.

This is just part of the reason why this is the true definition of a celebrity contest. And later, I'm going to quote National on something he said last week that I feel is the sole purpose for why this game stands out from above any other competition out there.
But the description of the shoes -- the maker, what materials the shoes are made of, how tall the heels are, etc., -- is what brings out how celeb contests are done with great taste and style. This idea (along with the entire contest itself) if just genius. It's a great thing you added this concept into the contest because when you look at the pictures of just the shoes in these different angles (the insides and the bottoms of the shoes, especially), it makes you feel that you're THAT much closer to the feet of the women wearing those shoes. And other people have mentioned it, but it's worth repeating, that you can just smell the leather from these shoes. I'd like to add that you can also smell the lotion and other foot care products that they put on their feet.
A match I thought would come much later in the season is the Audrina-Katy rematch. This match (I feels) means more to Katy than it does to Audrina. Not saying that it means nothing to Audrina because Victoria Justice is still in the picture. But if Katy loses, she can almost kiss her chances of making the playoffs goodbye. But I voted for Katy this week. I hope she's the "People's Choice" this week.
Looking at Katy's pictures, let's just say that I've got an award for her. She looks very glamorous this week. But can she sing? That doesn't matter because the better question is if she has hotter feet than Audrina? I'm always back and forth with these two, but this week I've got Katy.

What did I say about Carrie Underwood over the last few weeks? Her signature pose is having her big toes pointing upwards in most of her pictures. For some reason I find that SO SEXY and a HUGE turn on. Another group of pictures that makes this week something to remember.
And I just LOVE Candice's last picture in her set. Just love how the picture shoes her feet and then it makes your eyes go up to see how silky white smooth the rest of her legs are. I agree with what Duffy said about her. I mean, my god, it doesn't get much better than that. The NFC is the perfect place for Candice to stay in. With pictures like that, she's ready for the playoffs. No. Doubt. About it. I bet her feet taste like caramel. Holy cow!!!

Sorry that I missed voting last week's matches. A couple of guys in here talked about how it seems like Krupa has been getting into tough matches as of late. Man, I feel the same way about Alba. National has really toughen up on Alba this year. I checked last week's results just to see what I missed. I'm glad she plowed through Jessica Szohr, but I was disappointed again to see her lose when it happened the week before.
Now, Alba has Kardashian to face. The good news is that Jessica Alba defeated Kim Kardashian when they met last year. The bad news, this is a totally different year. National has said it many times and the facts speak for themselves: this year, parity is taking over. This contest is in it's fourth year (I think) and I cannot remember things being this tight before. Carmen's losing, Kim's losing, Tisdale's winning, Longoria is up and down. Parity is good for National's contest and I'm winning to bet that he's smiling about this because this is good for business.
Years ago in this contest, it was by this time that the division leaders will be WAY far ahead of whoever's in second place. Now, it seems like anyone can win which ever division (except for Szohr and girls like her).
I keep telling Augustine this, and I'll have to repeat it: Jessica Alba is making her big comeback. The thing that disgusts me this week is that even though I almost NEVER voted for Carmen, I HAVE to do it this week because I have to protect Alba. After I voted for Carmen, I had to throw up. But if I have to vote for her to keep Alba's season alive, then that's what I have to do.
Another thing that was interesting last week was the war between PanAm and Jensen. PanAm loves Marisa, Jensen loves Krupa. Not a big fan of either one, but I will have to say that Marisa is overrated. If Joanna can beat her in their rematch, I would be SO FUCKING HAPPY. Other than Olivia, Marisa is another one I can't stand. And her feet are in the way, too.
I'm not in a good mood this week unless Alba wins and Olivia loses her match. Anyone who comes in here and talks about Alba being overrated, then bring it on.
In other news, I voted for Katy, too. Remember, she is my pick to win the NFC and represent that class in the finals.

Dude, I swear I ask myself the same question. I cannot begin to imagine how much time he dedicates himself into making this contest the best place to go for celebrity feet. Not only that, the schedule making must be a pain in the ass to pull off.

I think she's catapulted into my top 2, right behind Megan. I liked her a little when the season started. And as the year went on, she started growing on me. And while she was growing on me, my erection was growing larger. And now, after seeing the pictures this week, I'm sold. There is nothing bad I can ever say about her. The only time I'm against her is when she's against Megan. But when voting against Candice in favor of Megan, it was business and never personal.
I want to thank National for opening my eyes to the wonderful Candice. DSW is right, her feet probably does taste like caramel.

I think it's an injustice not to be in justice. You have turned my week completely inside out with how incredibly nice Victoria's feet look this week. I'm addicted to this thread and Victoria is my main love interest. With her legs and feet, she is turning into the complete package.

As you know, this contest is in recognition of Salvatore Ferragamo. The legendary shoemaker made countless custom pairs for many stars of the Silent- and Golden Eras of Hollywood.
It's rare that I take the time to look back at the starlets who paved the way for the women of generations that soon followed. But every once in a while, I like to slow the pace down a bit and have the people reflect back on a time when things were still very tough, yet very simple. Every once in a while I think it's a good idea to give a history lesson on what it means for me and for this contest to be the essential foot celebrity fantasy league when it comes to restoring and replenishing History and give thanks to the women who became the foundations of stardom.
For this episode, I want to talk about Greta Garbo. Greta Garbo is arguably the quintessential embodiment of the Hollywood star system. Her beautiful, glamorous, Sphinx-like image captivated American and European viewers of both the silent screen of the 20s and sound films of the 30s. Garbo's personal decision to leave her film career in 1941 and maintain a notoriously private, reclusive lifestyle has only further enhanced her mystique.

Milan's always been a destination for the fashion set — last year it presented a new draw for an audience craving fashion nostalgia from a timelessly stylish era. "Greta Garbo: The Mystery of Style," an exhibit by Salvatore Ferragamo, showcased the silent film star's never-before-seen collection of Ferragamo footwear and other designer pieces. The exhibit opened during Milan Fashion Week and was open to the public until April 4 at the design museum La Triennale di Milano.
The famously private Garbo formed a friendship with Ferragamo in the 1940s after she requested he make her a pair of heels that were both stylish and comfortable. The talented shoemaker created 70 pairs of similarly designed shoes in varying shades for the actress. Among the shoes in Garbo's Ferragamo collection is a pair of sandals with a small round heel, velvet ballerina evening slippers, and lace-ups with a slightly raised toe. Ferragamo created special footwear that Garbo was the first to slip on: one with a stitchless upper soft toe and simple clasp.
Aside from Garbo's large collection of Ferragamo shoes, museum director Stefania Ricci has culled Garbo's wardrobe — a myriad of dresses, hats, scarves and pants — with the help of a family member who kept them well preserved. Costumes from Garbo's films, such as Queen Christina and Inspiration, were also be on display. Valentina, Pucci, and Givenchy were all represented, as was Louis Vuitton, with a set of suitcases — one of which Garbo used solely to hold her shoes.
In addition to designer pieces and memorabilia, the exhibit also displayed pictures of Garbo herself, including a passport photo. Critics declared Garbo's wildly penetrating face as "the platonic idea of the human creature."
A quick glance through the collection reveals Ferragamo as an innovator in handmade footwear. Throughout his career, his approach to shoes attracted affluent and influential women as faithful clients. This collection was a reflection of a time when fashion merged with the elegance of the Golden Age.

By the way, let it be known that Carrie Underwood will be a HERO to all of us this week for beating Emmanuelle Chriqui. It was completely unfair that someone like her can beat a such an innocent girl like Candice. Yes, Candice was robbed last week. And now, Carrie Underwood is going to take care of the business that should've been taken care of last week. These Carrie pictures give the perfect example to why she deserves to have a better record than she does now. I want Carrie's feet all over my face.
Audrina is looking pretty damn good this week. Her feet are just as hot as anyone's out there. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar. That match against Katy is tough. But I voted Audrina. Her shoes are sexier, in my opinion.

The Kelly Brook match is something of a vacation for me. Looking at the pictures, is like a foot fetish guy dream come true. In Katrina's second clip, I wasn't looking at her ass either. But I did look at the second time only after reading the comment "indemand" made.
But Katrina fixing her wedgie made me want to eat her ass. Her soles are just as tasty.
Brook said in her clip that a lady showing her toes isn't lady-like (I know, she's following the script the director gave her). But in this contest, a lady showing her toes is very much lady-like. Agree?
I love what Kelly said in the beginning of the video: "They say showing your toes isn't lady-like. But if you don't show your toes, how are they gonna know you're a lady?"
Good fucking question! That's the question of the year. The message in that skit is perfect for this game: show 'em your toes!
