To make this the experience that this year's Finals Classic is also the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, here is the fashion show that took place back in 2009. The reason I picked that year was because both finalists participated in that show, unlike last year's event.

I love everything you've done here, National. These women came out to perform and it's going to be the most telling match of all time, I feel. Like you said, this is more than just a match. It's the kind of bragging rights that can go on basically for a very long time. This is a real case of AFC against NFC. These two are best fitted for those roles and the loser will be quite devastated. But I think Candice is ready. I voted for her because look at her. Is she for real or what?! I love how she looks in her second set of pictures. That's a VERY sensual look from Candice, making her feet look so lovely. I recognize Lima in that set, but who are the other two girls with Candice and Lima? That's just total hotness, feet hotness all over. My GOD!!!

I've got Miller for this one. Her shoe department pics are what put it over the top for me. That's perhaps the best I've seen Marisa look. Love that her pumps are so well polished. Hot women know how to wear EVERYTHING, especially high heel pumps.
And I also love how you have this set up, centered around the supermodel theme for this year's Classics. I must say that you know your models better than anyone else I know, I swear. I'm looking at this Victoria Secret fashion show list. You sir, care about your contest in ways that no one else will care for his contest. This is a great piece to add to the spectacle that is the finals.
I'm going to spend the entire night looking at these clips because that's what this contest deserves for the final match of the year.

Wow! That was a nice shot of all their faces. Erin Heatherton, especially. I'd pay them a lot of money, as well, to keep themselves looking this gorgeous all year long. Candice and Erin should be sisters who lick each other's soles and toes. What a scene that would be!
Everything about that set, the way Candice looks, her feet, there is NO FLAW in that girl.
Even though my favorite didn't make it this far, I can say that these two certainly deserve to be here. I'm pulling for Candice because I think her feet are just a bit prettier than Marisa's and some weird, unexplainable force is pulling for Candice to pull this one off. She's been the hidden factor of this contest all year, and I think she's going to realize her full potential.

I'm with the NFC all the way in this one. If Candice can get through Audrina and Megan, then Marisa will be a challenge she can overcome. I think Candice's fans learned something from her loss to Marisa earlier this year. So they should come out in full force to beat out this powerful Marisa, who I think is the favorite to win this whole thing. Marisa finished with the better record, has pretty much made her matches look easy.
But this week is the best I've seen Candice look. Candice's feet are made of candy. No one can convince me otherwise.
And I saw that fashion show from beginning to end. This is the best finals yet.

What's very cool about Marisa is how she shows appreciation for the troops who are still overseas fighting. That's the coolest things I've seen any woman in this contest do, supporting the troops the way she does.
For Miller, this can be a storybook ending to the season. Independence Day is just around the corner, and it would be cool to have her win this whole thing to kick off the weekend.

Marisa Miller is the All-American model. The last supermodel to carry a similar label was Cindy Crawford. What Cindy has on Marisa is a very lucrative legacy that has made her an cultural icon. As much as Marisa is the Official Symbol of the AFC, she is fine with the fact that her status will not reach the potential that Crawford had during her days as being the Number 1 model in the world.
Very few models can captivate a nation the way Cindy did. Cindy was definitely someone who could make men line up around the block wanting to get to her.
Had this contest been around back in the early 90s, she would've been a head-on favorite to go very far with the likes of Katy Ireland, Rebecca Romijn, and one of the original Victoria's Secret catalong girls, Stephanie Seymour.
Back to Cindy. She possesses the most famous mole in human history and won America's heart with her unforgettable Pepsi commercial. She tried acting, but luckily for everyone, she went back to just looking good for a living.
If there's anyone who Cindy's rooting for in this year's Classic, I'll bet you anything that it's Marisa Miller. Miller will carry the torch as America's model with great pride and fantastic appeal.
From one All-America model to the next legacy of the same brand, Cindy hopes for the best in Marisa Miller, and hopes that better things are yet to come for her.

Something I noticed. At no time during the entire show did Marisa and Candice share the stage at the same time. Both never appeared in the same segment. The AFC and NFC do not want to share the same spotlight, it seems. I love that. It should be the NFC's spotlight. And I'm hopeful that Candice can get the job done. I'm worried that she's going to lose now that she's lost the lead. But everything we see from Candice this week should not let her down.
This match is exceeding my expectations. Commericals are hot, especially the ones Candice is in.
And great tribute to Crawford. Wasn't she in this contest at one time before?

One thing I like about the finals classics is that there's always the tale of the tape between the two finalists. This is a genius idea that helps separate his (National's) finals from any other contest. Yet, this is the part of the contest that I always forget about. But when I see it, it's quite refreshing to know how the two women stack up against each other.
The part I quoted got me laughing a bit because Candice is not yet ruined. It's true. And for her sake, she better enjoy this ride while she's still very, very young. And I had no idea that Candice was that tall. If she's the tallest finalist, then the other women must be midgets compared to Candice. The average guy must be taller than any other women who have made it this far. And both have almost identical measurements.

Candice has done it! She has flown a bit under the radar compared to Marisa Miller. Everyone expected great things from Marisa because she's done an excellent job last year. Candice, being the rookie, had (I think) more people expecting her not to make it as far as Marisa because of how dominant Audrina and Megan are. I'm pretty sure that when National told everyone that Candice was going to be the girl who represents the NFC, that that didn't sit too well with Audrina and Megan fans at the time. To them it was like, "Who the hell is this girl? Audrina is better known than this Candice girl."
Who knew that a year later, that Candice was going to be the last one standing?
Candice exceeded expectations. She took the NFC title from Audrina and now has pulled off one the biggest win in this contest's history when AFC and NFC pride were at stake, and with the world championship at stake.
This was the most magical season I've seen anyone had.
Congrats to Candice for a job well done. And I'd like to thank National, once again, for putting together the best celebrity foot fetish thread in this entire board. This contest certainly made foot fetish discussions about famous women more entertaining (and heartbreaking for some) than any other discussion of its type anywhere else on this forum.
What a ride it was been, and I can't wait for this thing to come back next year with the additions of Mila Kunis, Rosie Huntington Whitely, and Kate Upton.

The National Fashionistas' season has now officially come to an end. And that end is the mark of the beginning of a new celebration. A new celebration in where we crown the life and achievements of Candice Swanepoel, who will now, and forever always, be the one who scored the biggest victory in this contest's history. Candice is forever the centerpiece of bringing the National Female Class back to its foundation and traditional meaning of everything this contest was build upon since its inception.
Being the National Class Champion is becoming the unofficial champion of this entire contest since it's named after me and the name of this contest. Every Finals Classic hold a special place in the heart of all Foot Fetish Hollywood. But this year's Classic held an iconic significance because it was this match that tells the history of the battle between the two classes and how it can forever shape what this contest will mean for the future when the AFC continues to do battle with the NFC for class supremacy in the Fashionistas.
Candice Swanepoel single-handedly saved the NFC, single-handedly set the foundation that the NFC is the class that represents the Fashionistas as a whole.
Back at the time when I announced that Candice Swanepoel was to be the Official Symbol of the NFC, I knew in my heart that I made the perfect choice and that no one else was going to carry that role with the smoothness, class, and swan-like sexy appeal the way Candice would. Candice came to me as the Guiding Light to help organize the NFC and keep it in check before it became unruly. At the time I made that announcement, it came across as a bit of disrespect to those who really dominated that class because they felt that Candice shouldn't gotten that title as the Official Symbol of the class because at the time she'd won zero matches.
Here's a look back at the season Candice had this year.
PLAYOFFS: Divisional Class -- Victoria Justice - WIN Class Championship -- Audrina Patridge - WIN
Finals Classic -- Marisa Miller - WIN
This was the first Finals Classic in where the finalists met each other earlier that same year. Candice gave Marisa a good fight in Week 3 before losing her grip on Miller. At the time, people were not quite convinced that Candice wasn't the right pick as the go-to girl for the NFC. But I seemed to be the only one who still felt that something more special was in the wings for her. Even with that loss to Miller, at no time had I thought about relinquishing those responsibilities from Candice. Candice had no reason to be ashamed of losing to Miller. It would've been a major upset had the results gone the other way. Marisa is more well known than Candice and Marisa's the Official Symbol of the AFC. Miller wasn't going to lose that match.
It was a blessing in disguise that Candice lost that week because she took those lessons from that loss and came back to beat Megan Fox the week after. But still, not everyone was willing to be sold on the idea of Candice being the girl of the NFC. They needed to see what would happen between those two in their rematch. When they did in Week 9, same results. Of the thirteen girls who faced Megan Fox twice, Candice is the only one to have beaten her both times. That's when people caught onto Candice as the flag bearer of the NFC.
Marisa Miller is still the Official Symbol of the AFC, in case anyone was wondering. This Finals Classics meant more to me than any of the others. So much so, that I feel more terrible and sick about Marisa losing than any other girl who lost in the Finals Classics. I know that someone had to win that match, but to finally realize that Marisa Miller actually lost a match, any match, especially this one, leaves me with a feeling of disgust because she is one of my favorites girls on the planet and nothing will ever make me lose my love for this girl. Marisa is going to take this loss to heart like an arrow piercing it. I feel the same way. That's how much this one match meant to me. I've never felt this way after any match, and it's only fitting that this feeling occurred as a result of this match, the Finals Classic No. IV.
What I love about watching the Finals Classic is that we have two of the best going at it, with only of them losing out in the end. For the girl who lost, to me it's like watching Tom Brady walking back to the locker room after losing out on their bid to complete the perfect season to a team that was clearly inferior to them, making it one of the biggest upsets in the history of professional sports. To see Marisa hang her head in shame or disappointment for not winning the most important match in history is a depressing thought for me. For her, it felt like she let her country down. With Independence Day just a few hours away, Marisa would've been the perfect fit to help launch the celebration.
This is the third Finals Classics that featured two Number 1 seeds facing each other. This is the first one in where the overall Number 1 seed lost.

This was a huge week for Victoria's Secret. Business for them is booming as a result of the Finals Classic. This year's finals was unique in that everything was centered on the present day women, and women of the past, who catapulted the appeal towards supermodels. This was also special for me because I have a very special interest, a love affair, if you will, to models. I love them, admire them, and I think they are the most fascinating women on the planet. I love how they lead very busy lifestyles and the fact that they are paid specifically to stay in shape and look very amazing.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was a way to bring this match to life and to bring more topics of discussion onto the table. I know the names of most of the women who were on that show. Erin Heatherton proved to be popular amongst the people. Finding the names of the remaining few took some work, but I got it done just in time.
What made it more special was the fact that other models from the contest took part in the festivities. They all gave us the sense that their appearance made this match complete.
My original plan was to highlight actresses from the past who paved the way for the women we have today. But talking about classic actresses like a Marlene Dietrich would not fit in the conversation as well as Elle Macpherson would because Salvatore never dealt with any models personally.

I also feel that this win over Marisa Miller was a bit of an upset. Not to the level of Ashley Tisdale beating Kim Kardashian, but just a bit enough of an upset to make me feel this way for the first time in any Finals Classic. This makes Candice's journey from the beginning to this very end a feel-good story that could not be over-shadowed by Marisa's sensational run over the last two years as the Official Symbol of the AFC.
This match was the best definition of what an AFC vs. NFC match should've been like.
