That is to say, ballet flats or flip-flops; which do you prefer?
I vastly prefer flip-flops, as they expose much of the feet, which is a plus for most of us. But I also like ballet flats, as I think they're cute and I love when some of them offer a view of toe cleavage.
Some would also say that the flats trap odor better and shield the feet from outside dust and such; I'm not in the smell/odor crowd, and I'm not too concerned about exposed feet getting dusted (so long as she isn't walking through mud or soil).

I voted for flats. Although I feel gypped because I thought you meant cleavage as in breasts.
Honestly, I don't really like seeing toes showing unless they are exceptional or have a fresh pedicure. Yeah, so picky, blah blah blah, etc. I'm a soles guy, what do you expect.

I found the flats pictures on either DeviantArt and Flickr.
And I guess that would have made for an interesting poll (flip-flops or breasts), but on a foot fetish forum, I thought using "cleavage" as a psuedonym for toe cleavage would have worked better.

Rider Aldebaran, I was forced to vote for the thongs because seeing the treats is always the ultimate goal. However, the hypnotic power of beautiful cleavage cannot be discounted to spark a hopeless romantic's interest.

Toe cleavage does nothing but frustrate me and I'm not a sniffer so odor is not a factor. Flip-flops and thong sandals for me all the way.

Definitely flip flops. The only thing the flats are good for is when I see girls slip their feet in and out of them.
