For your consideration and discussion, I give you this. Not much of an article and the pic is not so great, but always cool to see pedicures in the news.

As someone who worked for a newspaper, not all stories are "news" in the general term. Generally, we saw, as did other sister papers in our company, that profile pieces and feature stories got a ton more readership than your regular news piece. So, if you have someone who does fashion, or feature pieces, then yes, someone's nail art could make for a fun little read. Or maybe the writer just has a foot fetish and thought it would be a great way to do something related and not throw themselves under the bus. LOL

My fetish knows no political boundaries. I'll cross the isle to get a look at some nice feet. I like Palin's look as well as her mature feet. Hell, I'd love to see Nancy Polosi's feet, my guess that they are very nice.

It's not news. Media companies write more than news.

If I didn't know Sarah's politics I'd probably think she was hot. Knowing her politics like I do, I could never bring myself even to get excited about her feet. She's an idiot.

HuffPo has put out more than few articles about her choice of footwear and related things. Perhaps they have a photographer or beat writer who's one of us?
