You just have to work together to find a method that feels good. There are so many different techniques.
Some like it when the partner sits toward your side and uses the toes on the front and back. One side holds the dick up while the other foot strokes the front.
Some like it when they put the feet side by side and use the arch in the middle to stroke. Some like the on the stomach method.
Some like like it dry and some prefer lots of lube. I need alot of lubrication to get off.

As with the others pointed out so far your poll left me confused with what you're asking.
However, footjobs for me only work one way if I am expected to be able to enjoy and finish my business. Feet by default are designed for walking on, so when a woman tries to use them like hands to hold and stroke a tallywacker it is awkward and difficult to perform.
For me it what works best is what I would describe as a "solejob." Meaning if you are laying flat on your back she is basically stepping down flat on your choad and doing a little grind or rub. I was in exactly the same boat as mmmtoes and Ladaemon -having a wife who was very eager and willing to "play the game" but not having a clue as to how. There is a learning curve to it, it takes time and patience from both of you, and it may take some stamina on her part depending on which technique you prefer. Fortunately for my wife I love lube which makes it much easier for her to make the magic happen. And videos are a great teaching tool
