I feel for the man though, as I've personally gotten duped through the craigslist scene in a loosely similar fashion years ago. The girl had decent feet, but it wasn't the girl pictured and I just settled for 2nd rate.
Anyway, I was not happy with the overall service or money spent after the fact, but because I partook, I had to pay.
Nowadays, I adhere to my own procedure so that I can avoid these kind of mishaps.
I always make sure to have some form of visual inspection prior to committing funds. That might be looking at pictures on backpage or an escort site, or even better, it might be looking a chic up and down in person (feet included) when I meet her or am introduced to her.
In some cases when a girl is referred to me via phone, I require them to send me 3 pictures before I can even make them an offer. I require 1 front full body pic, 1 of the tops of their feet and 1 of the bottom of their feet. This allows me to get a visual idea before I commit.
It is crucial to have an idea of the woman you are getting before you promise funds. And sorta like a verbal contract, if they don't deliver on what they look like, then you don't deliver on the funding, simple as that.
But like I said, earlier, it is best to see them in person yourself when you make the offer for pay. Nothing beats the success I've had when inspecting in person as it never boils down to unwanted surprises.

Difference between an escort and a hooker is an escort is high class (or supposed to be) thats why you pay all the money out.
Independent escorts you can exchange e-mails back and forth asking any concerns and questions, like what shape their feet are in etc (because you are speaking to the girl themselves) a agency you are speaking to a guy basicly, some agencys are really good with only the best high class model type girls, some are not so good.
