As I mature in this "Foot fetish" lifestyle, I have found that I like to look at the feet during sex more than foot jobs and stuff like that. Even in porn which is rare except for a few of the studios that specialize in foot themed porn, Id rather watch the feet of the girled being nailed. I have come to love missionary position because I can watch the feet as I lay the hammer down and my girl loves it. But I prefer to see the toes pointed and spreaded. I also think its just a reflex and has nothing to do with submission. I know many men, including me, do it as well. And to add to Detroits positions: Even though I have a slight preference for toes over soles I became a huge fan of doggy style where I can look down on my wife's feet. In fact I often actually lift one foot up and lay it across my calf so I get an even closer unobstructed view and it's in easy reach.

Personally, I was always going down on my gf's when I'd see their toes curl. I'd finger them with one hand, caress their leg with the other hand, and watch their reactions.
If you want to see fantastic examples of toe curling during sex, watch a Seka, TJ Hart, Raylene, Rhiannon Bray, or Tia Bella sex scene. IMO, they were the queens of toe curling.

When we women point our toes during sex, it just means we're really into the sex. "Submission" has exactly nothing to do with it, and I mean nothing with laser-beam precision. I do it when I am being the assertive/dominant one just as much as I do when I am submissive or when the balance of power is equal...as long as I am really into the sex. It's just a reflexive action; no more and no less.
Don't "read into" sex too much, guys...it only leads to wild speculation like this.
