I've been seeing a lot of people on here talking about leather flats and how the mixture of sweat and leather is amazing. This interested me because i find flats very attractive but i have yet to experience the smell aspect of them. My girlfriend bough herself a pair of leather flats today just for me after i told her about my curiousity so, do any of you guys have any experience stories? I'd love to hear them

jcff hang tight! i find that you have to give them some time. new shoes take awhile to get rid of that new shoe smell. my girls uggs took awhile to smell nice a feety (bought in winter so no sweat i guess). i have her work on different shoes at different points in time, not just wear the same pair all the time. and make sure to work on certain items in summer. so il have her wear her suede leather boots in dead summer on a humid day to sort of givem a boost. im looovvving mocasins right now. what sucks about all this is when your fave shoes are trashed beyond repair its sad to see em go ::tear::

Thanks for the advice baalfootish! i am also a very big fan of moccasins. i just got my girlfriend a pair of ugg moccasins and she's working on those and her new flats. she actually gave me her old moccasins, they're soooo worn in and smell amazinggg! so now she's trying to break in the new ones for me and i can't wait till they're nice and worn

yeah, I totally agree, fake leather flats + bare feet + hot day = beautifully sweaty and stinky feet, the only other thing to improve the situation is for her to wear the flats extremely regularly........ and of course, all this will encourage any girl/woman to shoeplay like mad to try and air out stinky sweaty feet.............
