NFashionistas -- Week 17. The Regular Season Finale.

This is the final week of the regular season. This is our time to reflect on what has gone on over the last sixteen weeks and the events and moments that have lead up to what we have before us for Week 17. To reflect on the moments where one girl has stood above the others and made headlines by becoming the hot topic of the week. A time to reflect on the lows that some of the others had to endure. This is a time for some girls to get ready, to take this week as a warm-up to the greater challenges that lie ahead in the playoffs for the chance to don the Salvatore Ferragamo's. For others, it's a time to give one final look at the celebs who will not participate in the playoffs. A final look at those women who didn't do as well, but gave us something to talk about during the stretch of the season. Some of those women will be back for the next season, while more of them will not return. In some of those cases, this could be the final time you'll see them in this contest.

Even with the last week of the season before the playoffs begin, we still have some very, very good and important matches that have to be dealt with. I love how these matches jump all over the place from the AFC to the NFC and then back to the AFC and so on.

Also with this being the final week of the regular season, all matches are rematches that has one girl against her division rival. This rule change that took place years ago has proven to be a great success because it makes sense that you have these final matches against women in their same divisions. Playoff spots are on the line, which make these matches more nervous to keep an eye on. If they were to face women outside their divisions on the final week, I don't know if the excitement would be there as much.

Katy Perry has a chance to win her division if she forces a tie breaker with Audrina. When this season started, I never thought I'd see Katy Perry competing for a playoff spot. I thought Victoria Justice would have a huge improvement over last year's disappointing season. But Katy has proven why she still earns a spot in this contest.

Even though I like Victoria's feet better than Katy's I voted for Katy this week because I don't want to see Kristen in the playoffs. If Victoria were competing for a playoff spot, then I would've voted her over Katy Perry. But circumstances are not allowing me to.

I'm going to add insult to injury and place my vote against Megan Fox. This girl fell off the face of the Earth and I'm hoping that it stays that way.

I pick Irina Shayk in the next match. I'm glad McCarthy had a terrible year.

And Candice Swanepoel makes a very early appearance in the lineup of this week's matches. I voted for Candice over Brooklyn without giving it a second thought. Even though I feel that Decker is overrated, I am disappointed in how well she was received this season. I certainly thought she would have enough fans to give her enough support to do well in this contest based on her name and fame by themselves. I bet that when National was putting together the schedules of all the women, he created this match for the final week of the season with the hope that a playoff spot would be up for grabs. Their pictures this week, however, would make you believe that this match is very important. Great pictures from Candice. I just hope that she can reserve that energy for the playoffs. I don't think she needed to show those pictures in a match that's virtually meaningless for her. I mean, the only thing she needs to hope for is that Audrina doesn't catch her in order to secure the Number 2 seed. Other than that, I hope Candice has some great pictures in store for us for the playoffs.

I voted for Rosie over Menounos. The situation in their division seems complicated. But I'll address that later this week.

It's a good thing that after this week that I won't get to see Olivia Wilde's hideous face and feet. It would be nice to see Nina put Olivia in her place.

I'm glad that this is about to be over so that we can get on with the playoffs next week. It's been a long and grueling season and these girls are doing what they can to earn their playoff positions.

In the AFC, I don't think 10 wins would be enough to get someone in the playoffs. So for someone like Longoria, she just came up short. I'm very proud of her regardless because she has had a very good season. She has gotten an extra life out of this contest for her efforts and we'll be seeing her next season.

We've been very quiet on this Kim Kardashian thing. I don't know if people were afraid of jinxing the whole thing that'll give her her first win of the year or what. I'm going to talk about it because this has to be brought up. There's no way this can go ignored. The only reason her match has any meaning is to see if she can actually finish this season winless. As much as the other matches are important, this match with Kim Kardashian is going to be fun to watch because we could actually find out if no one cares about her.

If she loses, I can't wait to see what National would say about her. I voted for Stacy, by the way.

I've grown to like Selena Gomez more and more as the weeks go by. I really love her look this week and the shoes she has on really fits her style as she matures into a more sexual woman. It's perfect timing that she's facing her fiercest division rival in the final week of the season to determine who will be champion of that division. I voted for Gomez. With the way Bar Refaeli has been struggling as of late, Selena can use that to her advantage in the playoffs and advance to a deeper round in the tournament than what most people would've anticipated out of her.

I have to commend you for your hard work and dedication to putting this contest together and seeing it be the success that it has become. One thing I like about this contest is how you schedule these matches. I remember reading a comment a few weeks ago that said that you're a scheduling czar.

How hard is it to come up with the schedules of everyone? How do you determine which women a certain girl will face throughout the season? How do you decide who gets week off here and a week off there? Every week we have very good matches, so there's something you're doing that makes the schedules live up to their billing.

Thanks.

18th Floor is right when he said that ten wins is not enough to get someone in the playoffs from the AFC side. There was a time when it was first thought that Eva Longoria might run the table and sneak in the playoffs with ten wins. But the AFC is so loaded that Irina Shayk is the only one in there who has her spot secured for the playoffs. We still have about seven girls competing for five spots in the AFC. Longoria has nothing to be ashamed about, really. She did as much as she could. I voted for her over Clancy.

A lot of questions concerning these next two girls. National is going to have to figure out what to do with both Mila Kunis and Jennifer Aniston. Even though I'm a fan of Aniston's feet, I was expecting that she was going to miss the playoffs. However, I was not expecting this out of Mila. Both women cannot wait to get this match over with and just get outta there and forget about what has happened to them this year. I hope Aniston wins.

I'll take Klum over that crackhead AnnaLynne McCord. I know National was expecting Klum to make the playoffs this year after all the praise he gave her last year when he hyped her up. I'm still proud of Klum, though. Perhaps she'll do better next time.

This next match was tough for me to decide. I'm glad to see that Hawkins will be in the playoffs. I also like Maggie Grace a lot. I'll vote for Maggie anyway.

And let's not forget about Kim Kardashian. I want to see her lose. Stacy Keibler is going to do us the honors and get her the fuck out of this contest for good. If I had to pick between her and Olivia Wilde as to who I want to see kicked out of this contest, it'll have to be Kim. As much as I a passionate dislike for Olivia Wilde, Kim Kardashian is just a plain joke.

If that doesn't tell anyone that Kim is not wanted here, then I don't know what does. [Laugh]

Whoever voted for her is trying to spoil the fun of seeing her get what was coming to her for a long time now.

Thanks.

It can be very hard to come up with the schedules for all 32 ladies. The NFL, for example, has very complicated computers that can just spit out schedules in a short matter of time. Even then, those computers will have to give them more scenarios of who should face who during the course of the season because some errors. For example, the computers might give the league a schedule that's good enough to go. But if a game is to be held at a certain stadium on a certain date, and then they find out that a concert was already scheduled for that same date, they'll have to re-arrange the schedules for all 32 teams. With all those computers, it'll take the league two or three months to come up with something that'll be satisfactory to everyone. All of this complication even when you take into account that every team knows who their opponents will be in the up-coming season. It's up to the league to decide when those matches will take place, what time those games will be played, they stadiums they'll be played in, which networks will carry those games, and so on.

For me, I have to do all of this by hand. At the end of every season, I automatically know who will face who in the following season. All I have to do is figure out when they'll face them.

At the beginning of the season, I tell everyone how the scheduling format is laid out. For example, I tell everyone that every girl has four matches against women from the opposite class. If anyone has paid attention, you would've noticed that those four opponents are from the same division. For example, Audrina's AFC opponents were against women from Division III.

Audrina's AFC Opponents This Season --

Kim Kardashian -- Week 5
Stacy Keibler -- Week 6
Carmen Electra -- Week 8
Jessica Lowndes -- Week 16

As a matter of fact, everyone in Audrina's division faced the same group of AFC girls. Kate Upton and everyone in her division faced AFC's Division II. This is how I've always done it. Audrina's division faced AFC's Division IV last year. That means that in the next season, Audrina and everyone else in her division will face the women of either AFC's Division I or II. Yes, I know who they'll face next season as we speak. But I'll let that be a mystery to everyone else.

Also, in each class, women who won their divisions last year got to face each other this year.

AFC Division Champs Last Season --

Irina Shayk
Marisa Miller
Selena Gomez
Stacy Keibler

NFC Division Champs Last Season --

AnnaLynne McCord
Audrina Patridge
Candice Swanepoel
Kate Upton

In each group I just presented, all four women faced each other this year. The same thing happens every year. In addition, the two wild cards in each class always face each other in the season after.

To determine who gets a certain week off, that's determined by random drawing. Usually, the bye weeks occur between Weeks 4-10. This year was Weeks 4-11, last year was Weeks 5-12 with no one getting a break in Week 10.

There is always an even number of girls taking a week off, whether it's two, four or six women. This year, for example, I decided that I wanted two women to take Week 4 off. The first two names that came out of the box were Kim Kardashian and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Usually, the rematches start as early as Week 8. This year, Week 6 was the earliest a rematch took place.

Putting together the schedules for the first few women are always the most challenging. As I go along, it becomes a bit easier because all I have to do is fill in the blanks for the schedules of their opponents. Even so, I have to make sure that everyone's schedule is a perfect that connects with the others. Ashley Tisdale vs. Bar Refaeli for Week 15. If I see, for example, that someone else also has Refaeli on her schedule for Week 15, then that means that the schedule for everyone is messed up and I might have to start all over again.

Most of the matches were determined through drawing names randomly out of a box. Again, I said most. In other words, there were some matches that I set up for certain weeks on purpose. For Week 1, the first name that came out of the box when putting together Marisa's schedule was Bar Refaeli. Bar's name was also the last one in the box when I wanted to determine who Marisa's Week 17 opponent was going to be.

If you compare any girl's schedule to all three of her division rivals, you'll see that they're almost identical. That way, no one can say that I gave Jessica Alba the toughest opponents I can come up with while I gave Selena Gomez the easiest path possible. If you compare a girl's schedule to someone from a different division or class, you'll see that they're drastically different.

In this contest, it's not so much who you face ... it's when you face them, what their opponents record will be by the time you face them. Audrina faced Jessica Lowndes in Week 16 when both were desperate to clinch a spot for the playoffs. Kristen Stewart faced Lowndes back in Week 5, back at a time when everyone was still trying to feel each other out, trying to get a sense of what this season was going to be like.

Hope this answers to a lot of what you were asking.

It doesn't look like Kristen will make the playoffs even if she wins this match. Audrina will be in the playoffs no matter how you slice it. For her, it's just a matter of how high she'll be seeded. Unless Katy Perry loses somehow, Kristen will not make the playoffs. A win here puts Katy in the playoffs. I voted for Audrina anyway.

Audrina needs to snap out of this funk if she wants to succeed in the playoffs. I always felt that starting the season 10-0 was too much for her to handle, but I never thought she would fall off the way she has. Like National said, Audrina needs to win it all this year for all of this to be forgotten.

I'm so nervous right now because at the time of this post, both Marisa and Bar are tied with a little more than an hour left. I think the loser will not make the playoffs. Bar needs to win to snap out of it.

My vote went to Jessica Lowndes this week.

And the last match, Jessica Alba needs to rally here. It's amazing how one can lose control of her division after everything was within one's reach, like Jessica Alba. It would be a bad weekend for me if Alba doesn't get it done.

I'll post my comments tonight with the final standings of the season. I will have to break a few ties to determine who will be seeded where in the playoff tournament.

The regular season is over. It's time to move on into the next phase where heroines are made, Legends remembered. We move into the playoffs where everything is magnified because that will be the time when we will really determine who the champion of the world will be.

This season had great storylines which has lead us to this point.

--

Selena Gomez has really done herself a favor by breaking through that Little Girl image and begging a new stage of her life in the first stages of adulthood. Selena became the first woman to make the playoffs with a losing record. Seven wins was good enough to win her division. I see so much promise in Selena, that I don't see her having another losing season in a very, very long time. She has gotten herself together and has gotten a better idea of what it takes to excel in this contest.

She's the second woman to win AFC's Division I twice since Jessica Alba did it in Seasons I and II. Of all women who participated in this contest for the first time as rookies last year, only Selena Gomez and Kate Upton are the only two girls who won their divisions in back-to-back years. If a girl finds herself mentioned in the same statistic as Kate Upton, then that's a great sign that the girl is a legitimate player in this contest and a great sign that things can only get better in the future.

This has been quite a season for Audrina Patridge. She starts the season 10-0 and has finished the season 2-4 since that time. Everyone who has won at least twelve matches in a season has made the playoffs. It's said that if you can give me at least 12 wins every year, then we're good to go. In this case, you cannot be encouraged by how Audrina finished her season. After starting 10-0, you not expect her to spiral out of control and not maintain composure of herself. Since her loss to Kate Upton, Audrina has been a completely different person.

Now, this is the best time to make everyone forget about those woes and cement herself as someone who's a proud owner of shoes Salvatore Ferragamo has designed for her. The championship will quiet all the critics, and winning the championship always gets the last laugh and final word.

Audrina has always been in the mix to win the whole thing. As a matter of fact, Audrina is the first woman in history to win her division four times. No one else can say that. Now it's time for her to take that one step that has alluded her all this time and actually own it. Own those pair of shoes.

TIME TO BREAK SOME TIES

Every year, I've had to pull out the tie breaking procedure to determine who'll make the playoffs or to determine how high a particular person will be seeded. I find myself having to rely on that list in order to break ties and settle any bickering that exists between the contestants. I have to rely on this procedure way more in this year than I did in any other year before it. The NFC side should take me a few minutes to settle. The AFC, however, might need a few chapters before it is finally known as to who will secure which spots.

The tie here is to see who will get the higher of the two Wild Card seeds between Katy Perry and Ashley Tisdale.

If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild Cards from any class, the following steps will be taken.

Since both Ashley and Katy are from different divisions, I will apply the following steps until the winner is determined.

1. HEAD-TO-HEAD (IF APPLICABLE).

Both women faced each other in Week 6. Katy Perry won that match. That means Katy Perry will be the fifth seed while Ashley Tisdale will be the sixth seed.

This will be Katy Perry's second playoff appearance. A couple of years ago, Kate finished the season with eleven wins, but that wasn't good enough to make the playoffs. That's the record for most wins in a season without making the playoffs. Now, eleven wins gets her in. I'm very proud of her.

AFC

Now the tie breaking list is going to be in for an exercise because in all the years I've ran this contest, I have never encountered a situation where this many ties have to be broken.

The first order of business is to determine who wins the division between Bar Refaeli and Rosie Huntington Whiteley.

If, at the end of the regular season, two or more girls in the same division finish with the identical winning percentage, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined.

1. HEAD-TO-HEAD
They're 1-1 against each other this year. We move to Step 2.

2. BEST WINNING PERCENTAGE AGAINST GIRLS WITHIN THE DIVISION
Both women are 2-0 against Maria Menounos. Against Marisa Miller, however, we get a different story. Bar is 2-0 against Marisa. Rosie, on the other hand, lost her two matches against Marisa this year.

That was the easy part. Now the hard parts come into play. Now that Bar is your division champion, she's not out of the woods just yet. She's now in a three-way tie breaker to see how she, Jessica Lowndes and Irina Shayk will be seeded.

To determine who will be seeded higher among division champions, I must apply the same steps I would use to determine the Wild Cards. Since this scenario involves more than two women, the steps are just a bit different.

(Note: If two girls remain tied during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-girl format.)

1. HEAD-TO-HEAD SWEEP. (Applicable only if one girl has defeated each of the others **OR** if one girl has lost to each of the others.)
I cannot apply this step because all three women have not faced each other this year.

2. BEST WINNING PERCENTAGE IN MATCHES WITHIN THE CLASS
In this case, it's the best winning percentage in the AFC.

Loses To AFC Opponents

IRINA SHAYK
- Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Week 1
- Eva Longoria, Week 6
- Bar Refaeli, Week 9
- Marisa Miller, Week 15

JESSICA LOWNDES
- Stacy Keibler, Week 3
- Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Week 6
- Jessica Alba, Week 10
- Olivia Wilde, Week 15

BAR REFAELI
- Eva Longoria, Week THIR13EN
- Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Week 16

As you can see from that list, Bar has lost the fewest matches against her AFC opponents than the other two women in question. That makes Bar Refaeli the Number 1 Seed for the AFC.

Remember, the tie breaker reverts back to Step 1 of the applicable two-girl format whenever there are two girls remaining. Jessica Lowndes and Irina Shayk remain.

1. HEAD-TO-HEAD (if applicable)
Both women did not face each other this year.

2. BEST WINNING PERCENTAGE IN MATCHES WITHIN THE CLASS
We've already been through this. Both women lost four matches against AFC opponents.

3. BEST WINNING PERCENTAGE IN COMMON MATCHES (only applicable with a minimum of four common opponents)

In this case, both women had exactly four common opponents. They were ...

- Eva Longoria
- Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
- Selena Gomez
- Stacy Keibler

Jessica Lowndes is 3-2 against this group of women.
Irina Shayk is also 3-2 against the same group of women.

4. STRENGTH OF VICTORY
A part of the tiebreaking procedure, strength of victory is figured by calculating the combined winning percentage of the opponents a girl has beaten. I must combine the records of the opponents in each of the girl's wins and calculate the total winning percentage. The girl whose opponents have the higher winning percentage wins the tiebreaker.

Irina's opponents had a combined record of 68-92 for a .425 winning percentage. Jessica Lowndes' opponents had a combined record of 79-81 for a winning percentage of .493.

Jessica Lowndes wins the tie breaker between herself and Irina. Lowndes will be the Number 2 Seed, while Irina will settle for Number 3.

You're both wrong. A few weeks ago, I said that if Longoria could somehow finish the season with ten wins, she could sneak in the playoffs through the tie breaker. In other words, ten wins was going to get someone in. Now the question becomes if not Longoria, then who?

This is the first time in where I have to break a tie between four women. This to determine the second wild card spot. The four women in question are ...

- Carmen Electra
- Eva Longoria
- Jessica Alba
- Marisa Miller

1. HEAD-TO-HEAD SWEEP. (Applicable only if one girl has defeated each of the others **OR** if one girl has lost to each of the others.)
That didn't happen here.

2. BEST WINNING PERCENTAGE IN MATCHES WITHIN THE CLASS
List of Losses to AFC Opponents.

EVA LONGORIA
- Jessica Lowndes, Week 2
- Irina Shayk, Week 11
- Marisa Miller, Week 12
- Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Week 14

JESSICA ALBA
- Bar Refaeli, Week 5
- Selena Gomez, Weeks 13 and 17
- Carmen Electra, Week 15

MARISA MILER
- Bar Refaeli, Weeks 1 and 17
- Selena Gomez, Week 3
- Stacy Keibler, Week 7

CARMEN ELECTRA
- Bar Refaeli, Week 4
- Jessica Lowndes, Weeks 12 and 17
- Olivia Wilde, Week 14
- Selena Gomez, Week 16

Carmen Electra lost five of her six matches to AFC opponents. Everyone else lost four of their six matches to the AFC. For that, Carmen Electra is eliminated. The three girls who remain are Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba and Marisa Miller.

3. BEST WINNING PERCENTAGE IN COMMON MATCHES (only applicable with a minimum of four common opponents)
The only common opponents all three of these women shared were Abigail Clancy and Bar Refaeli.

4. STRENGTH OF VICTORY

Marisa Miller's opponents had a combined record of 53-75 for a .414 winning percentage.
Jessica Alba's opponents had a combined record of 44-84 for a .343 winning percentage.
Eva Longoria's opponents had a combined record of 65-79 for a .451 winning percentage.

There you have it. The second wild card for the AFC is Eva Longoria. She's had a remarkable season. This will be her third playoff appearance. She made it as far as the semi-finals one time. Let's see if her newfound rejuvenation can at least get her back to the same island.

I'm very proud of her regardless because she has had a very good season. She has gotten an extra life out of this contest for her efforts and we'll be seeing her next season.

I don't even know what to say to any of this. Incredible.

FROM RICHES TO RAGS

I cannot end this monologue without having a mention about Kim Kardashian. When I first brought her in to this contest, it was with the idea that she would be one of the most dominating women in the Fashionistas for years on end. For her first two years, she was not to be messed with, she was not someone you wanted to face, she was a force to be reckoned with.

Looking back on her whole tenure in this contest, I don't even know how she ever won the world championship, because the year after she did that, she became lazy. After losing that match to Ashley Tisdale in her second match of the season that she was defending her championship, she lost more times than the number of people who said something distasteful about her all over the world outside of this contest, which was a lot! If you take the number 1 and put a lot of zeros behind it, that's how many times Kim lost a match since becoming champion!

Kim Kardashian has done to the Salvatore Ferragamos what she has done to Kris Humphries: she's made a mockery out of it. I swear, Maggie Grace would've been a much better champion than Kim would've ever imagined she would've hoped to be. Maggie would bring grace to the title. The only thing Kim knows how to grace is the cover of some stupid magazine or some sleazy porn movie.

When someone goes 0-16 in a season, she is presented with the PayLess Shoe Awards. I heard they were giving away flip flops for a dollar not too long ago. Giving Kim Kardashian the PayLess Shoe Awards would not do this ceremony any justice. What Kim Kardashian should be given instead of the Payless Awards is the WORTHLESS Shoe Awards because it sounds more demeaning than Payless.

If there's anyone who should present that awards to her, it's Audrina Patridge. Nothing can be more fitting. Kim goes up on stage to receive the award, and before Kim gets close to her to accept those worthless shoes, Audrina would just throw it at her face and break her nose that's been surgically repaired about 9 or 15 times already. Audrina was the one who lost to Kim in the Finals Classic that was so uneventful. I bet if you ask Kim, she won't even REMEMBER that she was there at all! Audrina throwing the shoes at her is her way of saying Thanks for NOTHING!

Despite her ups and downs, Audrina has acted more like a world champion than Kim has.

I kept Kim around way longer than I should have. The fans have collectively voted her out of this contest, and out of this contest for good!

What a disgrace!
