Exactly, pull up a chair and crack open the Vodka...imagine them piling up huge mounds of High Heels in the town square in Moscow and burning them like books in Germany WW2. I would be grabbing what I could and running to save the stinkiest ones lol

And a determined mob of hot russian women would be great for having my face smothered. It's the perfect way to get their point across, not to mention how my little politician pointer would be stickin straight up the whole time LOL!

My wife is Russian, and is actually over there right now. She hates flats; has become so accustomed to heels that they (flats) hurt her feet.
She knows I am into high heels, and points them out to me on other women a lot when she sees them. When we were both in Russia, I couldn't have enough eyes!
Silly proposal there; banning high heels. Even Bloomberg didn't come up with that one!

Them trying to ban heels is like something we'd do in the USA. Our extreme liberal government trying to be the nanny for everybody and telling us what they think is best for us. Here, Russia, or anywhere, that government mindset is unacceptable.

Well, I love high heels. I think they are sexy and women really enjoy them. According to this article from the Daily Mail, one in five women prefer heels to sex!
But it is true that high heels damage and even deform the female foot. And I love women's feet far more than heels, but I don't think they should be banned. That just sounds really ridiculous. Not all women are careless enough to ruin their feet, and many women wear heels in bed, but there are a lot of women that are going to surgeons to correct their feet and fit into shoes they really like. Still, I do not think banning them is the right way. Women should be more aware of what heels and flip flops can do to their feet and shoe designers should take women's health into consideration.
