Does it ever seem that, as foot fetishists.. we seem to be the only ones who refer to the bottoms of a girl's feet, as the "Soles"? Most people I've known, including vanilla friends who don't have foot fetishes, say "Bottoms" of the feet, and not "Soles". I have two friends who have cute sisters, and if they see their sisters soles, they always say "I saw the "Bottoms" of my sisters feet".
Thoughts on this subject?

You are totally right on. When I ask girls to model their feet and ask them to show off their SOLES...they have no clue what I'm talking about LOL I tell them, "you know what INSOLES are right?" She says, "they go in your shoe, for the bottom of your feet?" I reply, "Correct! In-Soles for your SOLES" She then says, "Ohhhhhhhh" So yeah, "soles" might just be a foot fetish term since people can't put two and two together.

Interesting observation. I've noticed the same thing with my own friends. It's always "the bottoms." But I think it just comes down to laziness on the part of the speakers -- they're just choosing a simpler, broader word.
For us, we're talking shop. We're enthusiasts, so we're more familiar with the vocabulary of feet.

I've thought the same thing many times, but it never really clicked until now. Makes me wonder what other lingo we have besides that and "the pose".
In the past few years, I got tired of the mouthful from saying foot sniffing handjobs, so I call them smotherjobs.

I don't think it is a fetish term the same way "The Pose" is. Funny, though: When I've asked girls for footpics I recall saying, "Can I see (shoot) the bottoms of your feet?" instead of saying "soles." Huh.

People with foot fetishes are more aware of feet so of course we use the term soles more, it's a sexier word than bottom, other people arnt so analysis tic about these things because it's not a focus of their attention...

I've said soles most of my life but I think it's a matter of choice... I think women tend to say soles more than men. But I have heard a lot of women refer to them as the bottom of their feet too.

Of course they are both correct but the question was does it seem like people with foot fetishs use the word soles to describe the bottom of feet more than those who don't which I think is pretty obvious that we do but what I want to know is why do we call them soles? I found this on another forum and I think you guys will find it interesting, There is another interesting reason why foot partialism is demonized. The mid section of the sole of the foot has a small chakra which connects the energy of the body with that of the Earth. The energy that passes through these foot chakras is the final point where one’s energy passes from one’s body going back to the Earth & ultimately the source. This is the reason why so many folks who are prone to foot partialism often find themselves wanting to get close to the soles as they are instinctively trying to get close to these sole chakras where the person’s energy is flowing back to the ground. This is why partialists often feel as though they are worshiping the essence of the person whose soles & chakras that they are near to… as they are in fact absorbing the person’s escaping energy emanating from the sole chakras & is one of the reasons they often get a rush or high from it. The other being pheromones as feet & hands exude pheromones as well. There are also smaller chakras in the palms of the hands as well.

I always say "bottoms"... I'll tell or sometimes ask my wife that I'm goine to lick the "bottoms" of her feet... I never say "soles".

I wouldn't normally think so much about this topic but since mich posted this, I guess it also has to do with whether or not one likes to be dominated, if Someone likes to be degraded or humiliated I would imagine they would associate bottom with being under a woman, lower than but to me personally I like saying soles because it describes directly the bottom of the foot . I also like thinking of that area as the sole of the ladys foot essence and that's why I call myself the Meta foot man because to me my love for feet goes beyond the foot.

A lot of girls are just VERY dumb. Most don't know shit from shineola. They would probably also say... "What is shineola?"
