I've been studying this specific fetish for awhile because I'm always getting emails about it. These guys need real, worn smelly shoes + mental image of the model.
I can understand why they feel compelled to steal, because it's difficult to obtain proper stink from an appropriately attractive model.
If you want something good, you have to pay for it. He'll be paying quite a bit once he's booked.
