I have a few other unpublished sets with them coming too. Man they make the feet nice and moist - especially with Ryan, who wore them all day to classes before meeting me for a shoot.

Yeah Vans are especially good when they're not a costume accessory worn as part of a prepared set-up.
The best is when girls wear Vans completely by their own choice, because they are the real shoes that they actually wear everyday, having no idea they'd be showing their feet for a surprise photo-shoot.
In that way, their feet are captured in all the full raw glory that Vans (and other such close toed footwear) are famed for. I especially love when their freshly exposed feet are sweaty and pale from shoe tan lines.

Either way is fine with me, there's no "better" or "best" way in my opinion. Whether it be surprised out of their on the spot or the shoes worn several hours before being photographed (as in Ryan's case Patrick), the end result and the desired effect and smell is still the same!
