It's annoying and inconvenient when someone has this huge picture as their avatar that takes up much of the screen and pushes their own post off the screen.

Even though size is stated in the Rules and Regulations, most folks aren't going to read it or know how to make it smaller. The site oughta automatically shrink an uploaded pic to the correct size.

If you notice someone who has an avatar that is too large, please bring it to mine or another moderators attention. We will take care of it. There is a rule enacted against large avatars. As for you, eff, I don't see a problem with your avatar if other mods don't. It's not excessively large.

I've always been a little flexible on some of the avatars as there is only one size listed in the rules section. If it's pretty close to that size, or a horizontal version about that size, I tend to let them go. Some people, however, I do send PMs to or ask them in their threads to adjust them. For the most part, they always do. I'll have to look into the forum structure to see if it can do a scale down or tell people no if it doesn't fit a certain size. For some reason I remember Wu saying it doesn't though.
