I'd argue that the internet has shed more awareness on the subject of kink, making girls less cynical about such topics.

LH, I see your point, yeah. I think in a lot of cases, if the Internet content is positive, then women have a more sunny disposition to it (and us).
However, I'm remembering back in the day when I used to go around asking for footpix--we're talking 20 years ago--the reaction was more of the amused surprise in the face of novelty, and "Sure, where do you want me?" Nowadays it's more, "Oh, feet fetish, okay fine."
Or, "Get away you library-sneaking-shoe-stealing-toe-sucking-without-permission-like-the-creeps-I've-read-about-before-online pervo!"
Yes, I know there are plenty of dudes on here who do just fine. Etc. No internet squabbles here, yeah.
I've never asked a woman to take pictures of her feet, nor have I ever discussed my fondness of pretty feet with women I don't know. From that perspective, you may be correct.
