When I was watching TV, there was an alert for women to hide their feet because a foot creeper was on the loose. It was random and kind of funny. But of course this makes the rest of us look bad.

This article actually was funny in a way, who pokes his head through an open bedroom window in the dark and whispers "You have nice feet" to women anyway? It's such a bad idea, that it's almost a joke.

I always find the titles of these foot related articles in the news to be extremely humorous. "Foot creeper"? So if we replace feet with breasts, would the guy be known as a "breast creeper"?

I totally agree. It's hard enough having our fetish without someone doing something dumb as shit, giving us a bad stigma. Not humorous in the least. They should be arrested.

It's only bad stigma if you're insecure about your own foot fetish. Not playing devil's advocate, seriously of what consequence is it to anyone here personally that this made an online news story for a day? 99.99999% of women never saw it..lol. The guy was a fool, carry on with your own fetish and enjoy!

I agree with every word you said. Every word.
This has always been my sentiment when stories like these rear its head. I find these stories comical and inconsequential to me at the same time. The world is not going to come to an end and your (in reference to anyone reading this) feet worshiping days will not be jeopardized. All this is is just a silly/lurid dream. Everything returns to normal when you wake up from it.
The guy in that story was (and still is) a doofus. But that's his problem, not yours, or yours, nor anyone else's.

I only posted the story because I found it funny and interesting. I am not insecure about my fetish nor do I care what any female thinks about my fetish. Women that are disgusted by it are rare, typically they have insecurities around their feet or appearance in general. And I don't blame them; many women have ugly feet that should never see the light of day. lol.
