It has been years since I posted in the forum I actually surprised I still remembered my login information. Anyways came across an interesting article from 2016 about the moral justifications of a person who sells shoes to reveal a fetish for feet as it may make some women uncomfortable. It’s a long read doesn’t paint foot fetish in a good light no surprise but check the link below.
Reading the article I did reminisce about the days that I worked as a shoe salesman. I worked for a store that had a boutique upscale atmosphere we sold women’s shoes exclusively. The job was fun at times but not like some porn script where I slide high heels on beautiful feet everyday then I had my way with them in the back. I dealt with all types of customers and saw feet that ranged from gorgeous to down right hideous. Has anyone else worked in a shoe store? I would love to swap stories and share my personal experiences.

Oh, and thanks for the link to the article. Thank goodness we don't/didn't have to reveal our thing for woman's feet to the women that we served. I didn't reveal it to fellow sales people either. Just kept an air of indifference about it.

Not to steal your thunder that was basically my idea with this thread to talk about experience. Certain shoes for me just seemed to enhance what attracted me to women’s feet so learning about shoes was apart of my early introduction to foot fetish. I made commission for each sale so women basically understood why salesmen would hover around them. It was always funny to me when women would assume that I knew nothing about the shoes then I would ask what they needed help finding a pump, wedge, slide etc... and they would say how do you know so much about women’s shoes. I would always say I give every job 100% so that includes learning everything about the shoes lol. I think it really helped me build up clientele.

I made commission too, 9% of my sales. This was before I became an assistant manager and made a base salary plus 2%. Those who sold men's shoes made only 8%, but they had a monopoly on selling them so they probably earned more. (which was fine with me because I try to stay as far away from man feet as I can)

True that; but another reason I'd hang around was when we would have some shoes on sale and the right (foot) shoe was on the display rack. Some women would try a shoe on and wear it for 10, 15 or 20 minutes. They would eventually ask for the mate (which was still in the box in the back) and I'd ask for the shoe she was wearing to make sure to match it with it's mate. (I knew damned well where the mate was, however, there were times when you needed to match the manufacturer number if there were multiples in that size) I'd take the shoe and hold the opening against my suit (so to lose as little smell as possible) and head to the back. As soon as I knew the coast was clear it was whiff time.

Nice! I used to pick up the disposable nylon footies at the end of the night. I had a female coworker see me picking them up she says, “ewww no you don’t have to do that the janitor we’ll scoop them up.” Lol she had no idea that I really didn’t mind picking them up. A few would occasionally end up in my pocket for a good sniff later!

Loved those things; used to use them every time a woman came in without hose or socks on. Plus it gave me an extra chance to put my hands on her feet. Often I would (subtly) press the footie on her sole with my palm to help generate more foot skank transfer.

One night I sold an older woman (she was 42) $160.00 worth of shoes. (I need to make a note here; she knew it was my last night at that store before transferring to another, and she wanted me to get the commission. She called in the order and wanted them delivered to her apartment after the shift. I had waited on her before, so I gladly volunteered to be the delivery boy. Indeed, I had to make the delivery because that wasn't the normal way we operated). Well, you can guess what happened that evening, and on several other visits to her apartment.

No, at least not directly. I think her real motivation was just wanting some young dick....and she got it.
As a salesperson and when putting shoes on women's feet I'd almost always make more contact with their feet than was probably necessary. Including putting the footies on their feet myself, and not just handing them to them like so many other salespeople did. I think she liked that (the attention to her feet), but never commented on it. Keep in mind, I had sold her shoes (on several different occasions) in the store prior to the delivery night.
