I don't even get why this is news. Isn't it really just the relatively mundane private matter of a somewhat nerdy bureaucrat? Is it really an impossible feat to be, on the one foot, the father of a bastard, and on the other foot, an effective public servant, as this MSNBC article implies? This kind of thing happens often enough. I'm sure it's a situation that's been made to work in the past -- these are politicians we're talking about, after all. Yet the entire point of this article seems to be to ridicule the man.

I think the reason why this is an issue is because these are the people who are supposed to be running our country and helping us out. If they can't take care of their lives, how can they cake care of ours? Just a thought.

Why wasn't it titled " white house aide" why was obama placed in it? I not on the mans (obama) jock, but ...... there were Bush aides that had out-of-wedlock kids too. wasn't news then, shouldn't be news now. There are enough jacked up politicians, and aides in both parties.
