Just wondering,when clearing your hard drive,will everything you have searched and every site you have been into appear in the process or,does everything appear in a code form ie:letters and numbers etc?. Just wondering because I have looked up so much porn and also I don't want anyone finding out about my fetish!!.IF ANYONE FINDS OUT, MY LIFE IS OVER!!. My mother once deleted an important program on this computer and EVERYTHING was totally wiped!!.The computer company had to be called to restore all programs and get it up and running again.Do you think this is my only way of removing all the traces of porn I have searched?.
Also,this computer is not registered to my name so that is another reason why I am very worried!!.

lol If you back up everythig that you want on to a zip disk or cd, and then re-install windows, you should be fine. Although.... If you are THAT paranoid about ANYTHING being left there, (and it could be there still, how else do federales find the bad guys?) then I suggest buying a new hard drive, a cheap-O, and then "terminating" the old one in any way you like. Get creative. Blow it up, put it in an incinerator, open it up and rub magnets all over the disk, whatever it takes. Best one is to open it up and get freaky with a magnet, and THEN burn it all. Now, I'm not condoning the destruction of evidence, but if you have a "thing" to keep secret, you probably shouldn't be using the internet OR a computer. Good luck with your, um, endeavor.

Only if they went snooping through it before they did a restore. Also depends on how computer savvy they are. BTW just for funzies I went to my dad's house a while back and snooped on his computer. He's almost 70 and he had his own little stash of hidden porn files.
While your mom would probably have a cow if she saw your stuff, you dad would probably relate to it as no biggie. However, he may have a question of why the "foot stuff" rather than good old fashioned T & A.

Yes,I think they'd freak out and think I was really sick!!.That's why I'm thinking of deleting a important programme like my Mum has done in the past,so everything gets completely wiped!!.I would loose all my saved pics and music though.

Yes I am older than 20.I just wanted to know if I'll ever be caught out about my foot fetish if my parents were to have the hard drive cleared or if I'll be pretty safe?.Only because if anyone found out about my fetish they would think I am sick and really weird and abnormal.Everyone that finds out would never want to be around me!!. So that's why I am so worried about being caught out!!.

If you're older than 20 and it is YOUR computer I don't see what the problem is. As far as everyone finding out, I really doubt parents would go around telling everyone they know about it unless they are total kooks.

No I am not the registered owner of this computer but if I was I wouldn't be worried.I'm just asking if my parents do decide to pay to have the hard drive cleared,would the person clearing the hard drive find all the porn,well basically everything I have been through on this comp.Or do I have really nothing to worry about?.
