Wendy Carlos (or was it Walter at that time) did some interesting stuff for Kubrick's movies. I especially like the opening for "The Shining."

Yaaaawwwwwwwnnnnnnn [Thud] ..... Sorry not my cuppa tea... I was hopin' you were being sarcastic....... are you? [Confused] .... [Tongue] Or maybe it's just that we all have different tastes....

I don't really have a favourite Opening scene but off the top of my head I would say the Opening battle scene to STAR WARS III - Revenge Of The Sith [Thumbs Up]

That music from Clockwork Orange still creeps me out.

To add to the list, I personally think the opening of Catch me if you can is very well done, with a spoof done in The Simpsons

A moose once bit my sister!

I think me and all my stupid friends have been quoting that movie since the late 70s.

We apologise again for the fault in the subtitles. Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked, have been sacked.

Classic... [Cool]

Best opening scene of all time?

dude, Pulp fiction. Pumpkin and Honey Bunny.

That or perhaps the opening to fear and loathing.
